hey i recognise that car (see sig) rocking up at brissie this weekend...? At the end of the day, whether the car has been bough from nissan here, or bought from nissan in japan and then SENT here by another party, why should they care....? They have built and sold a car, and realistically, sold a handful more than they wouldve by now if they COULDNT be imported here legally. They arent going to sell any more or less vehicles, as near as i can figure. Whether they are paid for in Yen or Aus $ shouldnt matter? Jut means nissan Aus will lose teh sales but oh well - stop putting australia at the bottom of the list and this wont happen!

mine just gives me bad reception on the tv.

grab a test light, run it to an earth, and have someone flick the switch (or whatever it is) and see if any of the wires get a signal. If they do and it still doesnt work, then there is a problem in the lil motor i guess.

I didnt spot this (still havent seen a stagea) but a mate spotted a and took a photo of a white S1 on the sunshine coast, QLD. Was chock full of gear in the back (looked like they were moving house apparently) and being driven by a pair of 45+ year olds.

what changes are made to the RB26DETT over the years from 1996 til 2001 when they were run in 260RS? Was the engine and drivetrain changed to keep up with the change from R33 to R34? Or are SI and SII Autechs the same from front to back? Im assuming they didnt change, as all stageas run the R33 GTR computer, and didnt change to R34 in 1998/99 or whenever the R34 skyline was born? What sort of clutch should be run for a stagea with the mods im planning? Same as youd run in a GTR with similar mods, but a bit heavier to cope with the weightier car?

good point... there is more aftermarket support for the manual version. So if you are thinking of engine mods in the future and possibly upgrading ur computer, go manual.

Ive found importing to be cheaper also, definitely another option. Have a look on the j-spec website, greg, and also go to www.mytrading.org and read through that site. Much to be gained. Again - i cant stress enough - have a look at the stageas for sale on here. The good thing is that all the stagea drivers currently selling their cars on this forum genuinely love and look after their cars - and will miss them when theyre gone!

My biggest thing was it had to be manual. But just for personal preference, really. I dont plan on doing track work, or towing, or anything like that. I bought it to be a fun car to drive as well as practical, so wanted a manual simply to be more in touch with the car. That is all!

Youve just gotta have what they want i guess. I think 18k is a decent asking price for what the car is. Luxury cruiser, thats been tastefully modded to handle very well and make decent power. High kms, but doesnt mean much in the grand scheme of things. On a different subject - got those taillights leshy. Cheers. Trader rating +1

Again, you can get a series two for $12k if you shop hard enough, but its like your GT forester, or any other car - youll generally get what you pay for. Manuals are rare, hence more expensive. Black manuals are like jumping into a ford falcon taxi in the city and it being a manual - Generally does not happen. PS i know of ONE and its for sale. PS have a look on carsales, ebay, tradingpost and so on, thats the only way to get the answer to what youre after. average price = add all the prices of stageas you find into one large number, then divide by the number of stageas. That number is the average price. Have a read through the features on offer for different dollar amounts. Go through the private whole cars for sale section on this forum - some of the nicest cars are on here, and a few are for sale. Have a read through the buyers guide to the nissan stagea (shouldve been the first place you looked). It'll be maybe 5 or 6 topics above this one. Now get into the double unicorn chat thread and introduce urself!

Wildkat has a black 4wd manual for sale - i was going to buy it myself actually, but got one in from japan instead. Nothing wrong with the car - its an outstanding vehicle and very reasonably priced - i was just after something different.

Hi guys! Most of you will know (from my sig) that my stagea rocks up shortly. Its going traight in for compliancing. The car has new tyres that im NOT binning, so im hoping that as opposed to me BUYING new tyres to put on the rims, am i able to borrow a set of wheels and tyres (means you will have to drive around on my autech wheels for a few days) just for long enough for it to be complianced? Has anyone else done this? Im offering a carton of whateer you drink for the help!! Car is getting complied in brisbane. So if you can rock up at the workshop with your car, we can swap em there, then after itscomplied ill rocfk up at ur house and swap em back!!! THanks guys!! Also open to other suggestions...

another thing - if we have a particluar shirt we like, or just want to be 100% sure a shirt fits, can we buy one and send it to you....? or are you able to just send the transfer to us for us to put on ourselves? Again... I think it should be Stagea Web for Advanced Tune... With Goushuu as the variant... Seems more authentic.

i like the bottom shirt - how about 2 of those, one black, one white, with the SWAT logo in large on the back...??? Just to be different....
