im just getting the racks removed, the holes in the rails are having pieces plastic welded in place then filler to smooth, then colour coded to the car. Rackless.

i find the biggest issue with buying htem from yahoo auct is that they dont specify whether they are S1 or S2. THose eyelids are a lil too agressive for me, grant. PS is ur username anything to do with the US military base up there? You drift with roofracks...? haha

Ill show you mine when its finished. I have a 260RS, in black. What i'll be doing to pretty it up a lil is to give it a two tone job, by painting a pearl over the black, from the bodyline (near the door handles) and up, so including the bonnet and roof etc. Or, vice versa, from the bodyline down. This is fairly cheap and easy to do. Im thinking an aqua pearl, or maybe a dark blue, just something that stands out a lil, and a pinstripe along the join in about 1/8th inch. The pinstripe will coordinate with the pearl eg if its a dark red pearl, ill run a dark red metallic pinstripe. Can add to it by throwing some glitter in with the pearl and so on. Then re-clear it, obviously. The pin stripe is to A) provide a tidy line to break up the two colours and B) neaten the two finishes, as where you have painted an re-cleared will sit a lil bit higher. Bobbeh PS Street Commodores did this to their monaro. Was flat red, they just made a glitter and orange pearl mix for the top half of the car, looked mint. For a commo. Nice finish on it, anyway.

i have one, complete box with lid and intake, in PC with filter you can have for $100 plus postage. Comes with a nismo sticker on the lid haha... has the bolts to im 99% sure

find someone with an RB20det that wants to turbo it, and do a swap with cash YOUR way. You get ur engine, they get theres, you get enough cash to fund the mechanic to do the swap.

cos huge porsche brakes and GTR wheels are subtle lol... nah i get what you mean. I wouldnt spend those sorts of dollars on something that isnt going to help speed. My limit for a set of 18's is like 1750, no more than that.

id LOVE to vip mine... thats half the reason i went black... But there really arent any kits available. Only issue is, that the stagea (as far as wagons go) are a very driveable car, and i dont want to lose that. Love the look of alex's wheels. Im not sure what brand of coilovers are in it, but if i can adjust the height then doooown they will go. One thing i WILL not do, is sacrifice handling and performance for looks.

Its a single turbo conversion? which means you couldnt relly swap it out for my stock 260RS item....? If i had the cash i would gladly swap you my 260RS front end for your 34GTR front with the dollars your way a lil. How much for the EBC? I have an apexi FC, and planned mods are filter, exhaust, boost controller and FMIC, so if you have any of those (or anything that youd recommend to run as supporting mods) up for sale, let me know what you are after. for the most part i guess, in most cases, but im just after the shorter distance. I found that when i was driving the skyline i didnt exactly snap through gears, but i enjoyed the more solid and direct feel. We'll wait and see when i get the car first - hopefully the shifter doesnt feel like a broom handle in a bag of marbles. Looking at the close up pics of the stock shifter thats in it, its only a fairly short shaft, not that that has much of a bearing on throw distance. The short shifter in the skyline was standard length, but shorter throw.

so it woulnt do any more damage than just shifting quickly?

hugh im contemplating getting rid of mine but wont know til i see the car up close... dont know if i like the idea of a spoiler on a wagon. But we'll see.
