i dunno about the kit on the red one but MAN that 35 is nice!!!!! The silver S1 isnt really a non-turbo, is it...? i like the grill ethat came with the NA models, tho.

yeah agreed with duncan. if there is a large difference it will cause the problems. Hence, rotate your tyres every few thousand kays to keep the wear even.

What happens when your 8mm deep tread wears down to the 1.5mm wear bars...? thats a 15mm change in rolling diameter. Doesnt matter. As long as front and rear is the same. The atessa system wont even know that the diameters have changed, as long as they are changed equally. only issue is that your speedo will be out. Bigger diameter means that your car will travel further with every rotation.

yeah... if you were going to change to a 3.0l block, noone would even be able to tell, except for the power. Realistically you should be asking these questions in the forced induction performance area, as it has nothing to do with stageas, and everything to do with forced induction performance. I think this thread should be moved. You will also find that if it were in that area, you will get a lot more replies with a lot more useful information.

it doesnt matter what the rolling diameter is - what matters is that is it the same rolling diameter front and back. and yes, im saying it will be damaging over time. It is not the issue of changing the diameters, that doesnt hurt. Just make sure there is no difference between front and back.

ahhh... the question that has been sked and answered a thousand times.... heres my answer from last time someone asked -

the most expensive part of anexhaust manifold, so if you are going to have it off the car changing gaskets etc id change to a stainless one too. Seems a waste putting the stock one back on... you'll get ur turbo spooling up sooner and more power with a stainless. plus, they look shit hot.

nice one, anon... But yeah definitely go for an RB30 (obviously a 3L block) to start. Then if you want it bigger, stroke it. Will allow you to spool up a turbo much quicker, as well as more torque down low. No poin starting with a 2.5 when you can start with a 3.0.

leigh i was actually thinking about doing that to the clear ones, as i wouldnt have to put so much on to get rid of the orange look. the taillights are being tinted.

yeah leshy thats what id mentioned in the first post, but the issue is they only released them in aus with the amber ones, not clear. ill wait and see what performance wise comes up with as an answer, as the orange look ghey on a black car.

just illustration hugh. They havent made any for the stagea yet, hence the whole 25 minimum thingy. Once they have that many ppl interested, they will make a template from which we can choose colours etc etc, but the layout will be the same as in your car now.

as in circlip grooves like SK's whiteline/bilstein kits? I will check it out. Anyone have much experience with nismo s-tunes? decent suspension....? Car got a few things from the nismo brochure it turns out - S-Tune filter, S-tune suspension, nismo clutch and nismo badging.

yeh he is an ebay power seller haha... i looked through his online store. doesnt have any of the clear fronts, but has a heap of side indicators. im just hoping to get a set of fronts without having to go to yahoo japan

i know the spec-r s15 silvias came out with a boost guage mounted in a pod on the a-pillar. could hunt down one of those. Tell the cops it is a factory option and is a genuine nissan part if they give you hassles. we sell twin guage a pillar pods at my work, but i dont have any triples. they are a universal, trim to suit kind of thing. i could have a look at it and see what it would involve to get it sitting nicely in my S1 if you like, and if you like i could make it work using my car and then send it off to you.

my stagea has nismo s-tune suspension. is this height adjustable in any way? or can it be adapted to be height adjustable? im pretty sure it is damper adjustable, looking at the strut tops (there is a numbered dial on top). Any help would be appreciated.

haha... i thought the same thing but let it go. I think a-pillar guages are more of a nuisance than anything. they block your vsion, attract cops, and arent really in the most useful place. Excellent wank factor, but 'several guages up the a pillar' in an auto stagea... unnecessary....? If you need some meters to monitor your engines comings and goins, a mearcat setup or din-pocket triple guage setup is a good idea. if, however, youre mad keen on the a-pillar guages, try yahoo auctios i guess. the a pillar of a stagea and a R34 'line are different angles im pretty sure, just from looking at them. bobbeh

this thread will be on the last page in a few days time :-) Im chasing a set of clear front bar indicators for the S1. Ive heard that nissan altima (bluebird) ones will fit, but the aussie bluebirds came out with orange? Where can i pick up a set of these? the clear side indicators are on ebay everyday for about $60 (nismo items) but the fronts are proving harder to find. I havent bought the sides yet, waiting to get fronts at same time so if anyone has a set for sale let me know eh. Can anyone help out?

Hey guys I have been speaking to the qld rep for Bendix re: brake pads for R33 GTR Brembos, and he is interested in having them introduce a line of these if there is enough initial interest (a run of say 20 sets) to get it started. Looking at ABOUT $250 fr the fronts. This EOI will become the group buy thread if there is enough interest. How much are people paying for their brake pads atm? Fronts and rears. Thanks. Bobbeh.
