same thing. lost a pivot speed meter but still has all the wiring in the car, and an HKS turbo timer. Happens ALLLLLLLLL the time.... nothing to be done about it. only way around it is to pay your broker to have him get it pulled out and arranged to be sent via post, separate to your car. bit of money, but hey if it lets you keep the gear.... ive consoled myself by saying if i get an HKS timer and pivot speed meter, at least i wont have to wire the bastards up haha....

Garret do a GT28RS whch is the same as a HKS GTRS and probably a bit cheaper.

definitely not an autech - the shifter is about twice as long, the seats are wrong, etc etc. id do a 34 face conversion if i could do a 34 stove top taillight conversion. Just to get the complete 34gtr wagon look going on. otherwise it looks half done.

found! it would appear they fit. not sure if i like the look tho.

i gotta say - that is probably the best looking r34 faced stagea ive ever seen- from the outside! dunno bout the interior ey... another5 spd conversion.

well i have the hand controller and will be mounting it in the glove box.

the turbo is an ugly looking thing? or the engine? im sure its do-able. a highflow will still give you good power gains with the right supporting mods. more boost, bigger intercooler, better exhaust, better filter etc. Anything iss possible with the right money but depends on how far you want to go. I dont have much more advice being that im unfamiliar with the car. However, do a search for m35+turbo, as i KNOW one has been pulled out of a car here before, and pics were posted up. Bobbeh

Picked up a PFC w/ Cont. from Blitz (nick). Sounds like it is a logcal step in the mod process. Will now try and track down a Power FC boost controller - i dont think these are vehicle specific so shouldnt be too difficult. Or would a bleed valve be sufficient? Has anyone had any good experiences with workshops that youd recommend i go to for a tune? Also, filterwise, is it worth spending the extra dosh on big brands? what do you use, and what works well?

yeah can reset it back to original settings no worries. SHould never run a tune from one car on another, no matter how similar or different the engine mods are. always start a tune frlom scratch. you will be fine to reset it, plug it in, and drive to ur tuner. just make sure you follow the instructions. do a serch for power fc, paulr33 has done a hgell of a write up on them on here.

wouldnt you run something similar to what you would on an RB25? a GT2860RS or something? i gots no idea what flange they use on a VQ25 tho.
