That mustve been heart-breaking man... really wouldve been. A friend of mine had to let go of his car due to financial circumstances. Loved it to pieces, always washing it such. Sold it, for no-where near its value and had to watch the guy who bought it drive past him on the way to work everyday. If that wasnt bad enough, the guy then wrote it off on the way to work, and my mate drove past and saw the car with the cops and ambos around. It was 3 weeks after he'd sold it. Will you get another stagea cy? I cant wait to get one hey...

pearl white over a real hot yellow on the bottom. Paint it all the way up to the body line above the door handles, level with the top of the tail lights. Looking excllent! the stagea is slowly becoming less uncommon so i guess that greater lengths must be gone to to stand out hey? Hope there arent any more hiccups mate! Look forward to seeing the end product. Would be interesting to see how much it would be to convert a stagea to a ute with a working tailgate.... getting it engineered would be a feat. Looking good! Edit: why is there a line of tape down the car? Is it an alignment thing?

Ahhh gotcha... but would putting a VQ35 in it fix the proble for compliancing? Being that it passes the emissions requirements? Odd that they requirements would change so much that it couldnt be fixed by a retune and a different catalytic converter. Time for a full on gas conversion? Burns clean. Can make nice power on gas. The valve seats in a 25DET would surely take it?

How about tranplanting a compliable engine into the car? And having it approved by an engineer? That was the only difference between the 02 (compliable) models and the later models, right? So if u run an engine from a car that REACHES complaince, surely it would pass due to all other variables remaining the same as the 02 models?

Might be an idea? even bring a few decent 'lines and classic nissans mebbe? Last friday of every month there is a car show at the Big Fish/Humble Pie. (Used to be an old go-kart track there that you could see from the highway, and a driving range, 9 holes....) Its about 30min north of bris, 40min south of sunny coast, just on the highway out from caboolture. Good midpoint. Place normally kicks off about 6.30-7pm and carries into the night. Always a good turnout of old classic muscle, V8s and a STUPID amount of sh!tbox commos but always some high end cars there. Happens every month so no urgency, just an EOI. I'll be taking my 85 ford... muscle haha.

Just double check that the rolling diameter of the tyres are the same front and rear. Sometimes different width tyres run slightly different heights, which can cause dramas with the attesa, according to a few on here. But going by how the rear tyres is stretched on there id say they are the same width TYRE front and rear, even though different rim widths...? Looks good tho! But yes lower the car!

Yeah i wondered about that too. And it doesnt have the steershift tiptronic either.... Is the interior on this one brown? Obviously the seats, but it looks like the dash and door trims are too.

What is left to complete the vehicle? Compliancing - $4,000? Obviously a full engine rebuild, painting the engine bay, and refitting the engine. May as well do it properly. How much to rebuild an RB26 (most 26's need rebuilds soon enough anyway, i think...) $4-5,000? Anything else? Any other problem areas with the car?

pedal box, centre console etc etc... Not something id want to go through. Prefer the AWD anyway.Im sure there are modules available which limit the amount of torque to the front wheels anyway.

Wouldnt a RWD S2 use a GTS-T box to start with? I know they make an auto RWD. From all ive heard you can always tell when a car has been converted from auto to manual... Never quite right. But who buys a stag or a legnum and wants 2WD anyway.....?

wouldnt you think that ummm recycled water would be the best....?? yes, its recycled... but isnt all water...? I think that millions of dollars of research and equipment SHOULD be able to do a better job of cleaning and filtering, producing a better water than something that comes though creeks and rivers etc to collect in a damn...?? i thought it would leave a better finish than rainwater.
