Just quickly, on this subject, How much would you pay for a S2 260RS cluster with less than say 75,000km?

Umm no its not the new version of the supra at all.... same as how lexus is200, ls400 etc arent toyota soarers/celsiors etc.... Pretty black and white (in colour) Looks pretty supra-esque to me. the roofline, the rear, the intakes on the sides, the long front overhang compared to the short tail.... Big fan. Toyota have made 4cyl, 6cyl, 8cyl, its a logical step for them to step up to a 10 at some stage. I give it 2012 til someone puts one in a hilux. As for it vs the R35 - i say different horses for courses? Theyll each have their preffered applications. EDIT - watched the last vid - it says its expected 2009, with a price tag of 15,000,000y. That converts to (today) $165,000. I wonder what we WILL end up getting it for? Thats cheaper than i expected.

Just had a look at that (googled it) It removes the speed limiter and reads ur speed out digitally. Nice! Nismo Make a 320 KPH Speedo for skylines etc but not sure if there is a stagea one...??? Best thing is that it would look factory and anyone that sees your speedo would be like WTF its a wagon with a 10,000RPM tacho and 320KPH speedo... Bit of cool.

I ran the same splits (TX6.1's) - do your crossovers glow (the fuses when they heat up) when you have them really going? I ran mine off a TA3404 MTX 4ch. Lets see pics!

excellent thanks. i saw the four pictures you had pposted. So obviously being that its an S2, id need an S2 autech cluster (not that id want to run an S1 cluster in an S2 anyway). I see the S1 autech speedo run up to 180kph. Is this the same with S2 Autech cluster?

im on here and i dont own a skyline! Im on here to get heaps of info and learn how it all works and all that before i buy one. In my case, a Stagea (like a skyline, but a wagon). Good to meet people and go on a couple of cruises and see what ppl have and see what your money can get you, so you can set urself a goal of what you want, then you can put it down on paper how much you need to put away in ur savings to get it.

Being that both the autech version stageas and 5spd sttageas run the same din clip with three guages, i was wondering if they use the same clips and harnesses for the instrument cluster (speedo and tach) i was wondering if these are interchangeable? Say i have a S2 5spd. can i fit an autech instrument cluster? will the tacho reading be accurate due to different redline? will it affect the limiter (noob question that one)? What are the visual differences between the autech and 5spd instruments? Thanks

Are you going to do much more with the interior ie match it to to the speaker pods etc? they stand out hey! must sound pretty bright with all those tweeters eh? Looks like good gear tho. Gotta work n ur interior tho! bring it up to the in-ur-face level of the audio. The white looks very stark on the black.

I have a friend who has been building a car - an R31 Skyline, Rb30E 5spd. He uses coilovers from an s13 and some steering control arms etc from an S13 aswell. Trying to track down a stiffer rear swaybar. Car runs extractors from the wreckers and a 2.5" exhaust, autobarn heavy duty clutch, Pod with CAI, new leads and plugs. Diff is a weld job, is the only dodgy part. Was a cheap car to build (about$2k, its no D1 car but its tidy and registered) and makes enough power. Should be taking it out soon hey.

go for a drive, fairly spirited. Then jump out and put a hand on each end tank. If your inlet side is a whole bunch colder than your turbo side, its working. As long as youre not loosing boost pressure, its fine.

nope. basically the same engine but run a bit more efficiently. still an rb25det. the variable timeing engines are VE eg SR20VE (variable cams as opposed ot double cams)
