  1. Sounds good to me too, guys (and girls?). I'll bring a few chairs too, I think.
  2. Sorry kids, tried to merge the two threads and some weird stuff is happening - flapsLOW's post should be the first post, but isn't... Hope I haven't upset the flow.
  3. I can vouch for Kory's statement, re: Matt. See, it's even lead to Kory making unintentional double-posts! Pro-tip: bring earplugs, and don't be embarrassed to break out the bright yellow, industrial-use ear-muffs if you need to...
  4. Yep, I was planning to use either white cardboard or paper and bouncing flashes around to reduce shadows. Some of the shots will be straight product shots using the background, and some will be modelled by my cousin's wife, so it'll be mixed up a bit in that regard. Kory, the problem with underquoting is that I'm not even sure what to base the pricing on, so should I quote based on a percentage of what the "professionals" quote at? I've seen pricing anywhere between $33 and $120 an hour from a bit of net research.
  5. OK peoples, who has done any kind of product photography before? I've been asked to do some photography to showcase a new range of jewellery, and have no idea how much to quote for the job. I know that there are approximately 15 pieces to shoot, and it's scheduled for this Sunday afternoon. Any clues, people? Also, I'll be taking two flashes, plenty of batteries, my camera (obviously), my laptop (so we can see results straight away), a tripod, and lenses (a nifty fifty, a 100mm f/2.8 Macro, and the 17-55mm f/2.8 - but I'll probably just shoot everything with the 100mm Macro). What else should I take along? Any tips, too??? Thanks in advance!
  6. Maybe the spider was camera shy, Jay.
  7. Hahaha, I'll tell Liz you said that!
  8. Here's some I took at Circuit Club's Twilight event last Thursday night. Here's Matt: Some random S2k in the next garage: A really nice Evo also sharing the next garage (and "Aggroman" Dave in his R34): "Pezhead" Eric's engine: And Dave's R34 again: along with the man himself (kinda ) as well as Eric giving Dave some pro tips:
  9. Bah, yet ANOTHER cruise I won't be able to make - I've already got a birthday invite for that day, and friends coming over from Ireland who've asked to keep that day free to catch up with them...
  10. FireFox, ver. 3.6.10
  11. I spotted a Ferrari of some description tonight on Fitzwilliam Road in Toongabbie, of all places. I almost wouldn't have noticed it at all if I didn't have my window down as it drove past, but that sound is unmistakeable and I then looked in the mirror to see the tail lights.
  12. It happened about 15-20mins after you left, Kory. It was during the very last session, I think.
  13. Here's a competition that's running at the moment, saw it posted on Facebook: http://www.loveitup.com.au/australiasmostlovedcity/
  14. *add Neil as friend* No idea who he is though...
  15. Guys, the "MultiQuote" function still isn't quite right. Sometimes it works fine, most of the time it doesn't.
  16. A wha...?
  17. Shame on you, Micah... I am disappoint. All good in this neck of the woods. Got that new motor built yet?
  18. Personally, I've got a return-feed FMIC, and it uses the standard intercooler pipes, so the standard airbox is still in place.
  19. No apologies needed, gents - the chat is all related to mods you're doing or are about to do. Today I got this in the mail (because I'm a lazy mofo and don't really like getting my hands dirty):
  20. Maybe because there's only one page of posts?
  21. Honestly, the standard Skyline and Stagea airboxes flow plenty of air as standard, so unless you're chasing stupid power, there's no need to change it.
  22. Drinking and driving is fine if you confine it to the virtual cars on your PS3!
  23. I've seen one in action on an R32 GT-R, and it's a lot of money for something that should be better designed. It has two inlets, and uses a standard-sized filter on top and a smaller one behind the headlight. The owner isn't that happy with it. The main problem stems from the rubber edge on the top filter - as it heats up, the rubber stretches from the force of the suction of the filter, and when it cools it stays the same shape, so the filter never ever returns to the proper shape. I think I have video on my phone, and can upload it to YouTube if you want.
  24. Yeah, but you guys will be covering the cost of compliancing too, right?
  25. Oh well... I drove down to Cronulla, parked at my friend's, then didn't go anywhere else in my car until I headed home. There were HEAPS of cops out, though.
