  1. I love the "fog lights" on this baby...
  2. Yep, Duncan converted his s1 to manual himself, but if you're talking about GTR seats as well, you might be thinking of my car. I bought mine because it was already converted to manual, and a factory RS-Four S was around $28k at that time (October 2005) - that was way over my budget! Seats from an R32 or R33 do bolt in, Jason. Apparently R34 is slightly different, but I'm not sure if it's the GT/GTt or the GT-R that differs. And yeah, they are heaps lower, even compared with the factory (adjustable) Stagea seats set at their lowest setting. I've also had the rear seats trimmed to match, and the door card centres trimmed as well, but don't have photos of these yet (I've been lazy on that front). Example: In the car: Mearcat clock-replacement pod housing with Defi 60mm BF Boost meter: Home-fabricated meter panel with Defi 52mm Exhaust Temp, Oil Temp and Oil Pressure meters (from left to right). Then there's the Alpine CD/MP3 stereo under those, the Defi meter controller at the bottom, and since then I've also installed a GReddy Profec B Spec-II EBC which sits on top of the Defi controller:
  3. Wow, this thread is over 2 years old and you still chose it to make your first ever reply on SAU??? Way to make an entrance!
  4. Doesn't it depend on the age of the tree, Chris? I heard buying them at pot-plant stage is cheaper, but the effects take longer to become noticeable.
  5. I did almost exactly the same thing about 4 years ago and needed a signed letter from my old man. I already had my custom plates on our family car, and when I bought a new car I swapped the plates between that car and the car I'd just bought. It was easier for both of us so he just came into the RTA with me when I did the exchange. Best bet is to check with the RTA themselves, at least that way you'll get (or *should* get, depending on who you speak to and how much they know - this is always a problem with them) the right information just in case the rules have changed...
  6. Looking great so far, Teren! Hopefully I'll be able to head around this week (or maybe over the weekend) some time and check it out in the flesh. I'm back to health, so my aim is to NOT get sick again while out in the wet weather - hopefully it doesn't rain beyond Thursday.
  7. I'll take two (or maybe three) of that passenger side accessory, if anyone can find a link...
  8. Agreed with Sam, and I also agree with his recommendation - Chris aka CRAVED does some awesome work!
  9. I spotted a gunmetal R32 GTSt on Victoria Road yesterday between roughly Ermington and Ryde, he gave me a wave as he went past me
  10. Here's a copy too, I'm pretty sure it's the latest version: membershipform.pdf
  11. Sufferer? I enjoy every minute!
  12. Yeah, sounds good to me too, depending on dates.
  13. Spotted a silver s1 C34 this afternoon parked in Wentworthville just off Darcy Rd at around 3PM, rego BGK-something-something-L or similar. I noticed a rear spoiler, and I think it also had black wheels.
  14. Go down there (seeing as you're a bit closer than most of us), kick some asses and ask for more days to be made available to us on weekends, maybe? I dunno honestly, but that will be our first obstacle. With OP gone, it's already hard to get track time, and will become increasingly so as time goes on, unfortunately. Duncan did get a date from them AFAIK, so it's just a matter of us sorting the details, and that will be happening soon.
  15. There's one in the works, Stu - an official SAU one. Once the details are locked in, they'll be posted up! Meant to be in mid-June, assuming all goes to plan.
  16. It really depends, because: [*]the forms and payment must be matched up [*]all the little items have to be in stock to be added to the membership packs (including the stickers and membership cards) [*]Shell has to actually find the time to get the items INTO the membership packs to be sent out [*]Shell has to then find your name on the system and add it to the Members' list so you can see the "Super Secret Special Members' Section Please remember, we do this job as volunteers, and receive no payment whatsoever for it. It all has to be squeezed in between work, family, social commitments, etc.
  17. I'll ring Chris and tell him that you wanted bright pink with Barbie stickers then, okay Duncan? At least Kel will be happy!
  18. So he means "pastel," not "Pascal," right? Unless Pascal is the name for that particular shade. I dunno...
  19. Mystery Legend? Damnit, for a moment I thought you were talking about me and my (now not-so-)super-secret crime-solving identity. And then people started coming up with REAL solutions...
  20. You don't like the dark blue, Craig? Seriously? I think it's the nicest colour I've ever seen on an M35, especially after seeing bbenny's one when we had the meet-up at your work car-park.
  21. That's MNP-II, Paul? It looks more like black with a very dark purple pearl through it to me. I like it a lot!
  22. Stephen, computer says no... *cough*
  23. Yeah, but is it a series one RS-Four with RB26 fitted later on, or a factory series 1 Autech 260RS? If it's a genuine Autech, I'd say it should already have full R33 GTR running gear (including R33 GTR suspension, diffs, drive-shafts, etc.) so the parts from the RS-Four *might not* fit. I'm not sure if the RS-Four and 260RS/GTR diff housings would be the same, so who knows if parts would be interchangeable.
  24. The manual conversion thread is HERE, and I myself have posted quite a few photos of the handbrake location in there somewhere... Sorry, can't help with the question on the pedals, though.
