  3. The old oil compatibilty issue with E85. From my understanding the "ester" base in the 300V oils is a big no no. Something to do with it breaking down with the alcohol in the ethanol fuels. Some people say its fine... other people say it wont work... then you have clowns up at Autobarn saying that "no oil in Australia will tolerate E85.... Your car is going to turn into a bucket of mush as soon as you start running that crap" When my car gets tuned I want to get a oil analysis done with Motul 300V 15W-50 (what I have always run in my GTR) and put this stupid yes, no, maybe, what if bullshit to bed!

  5. Matt. Wasn't it you that was selling that duel entry ARC cooler a few months ago? I know it was 70 mm but that is/was a awsome kit. You didnt want to run it on this weapon?

  10. Marko bought the modded pipe off me as I dont need it anymore. I am putting a duel entry ARC cooler in the nose of mine. I am sure any alloy fabricator could do it for you.

  12. That surprises me Marko. I thought with the 3 litre all that rubbish goes away? Mine has a ever ever so slight wooosh..... but nothing like some of the UK boys describe. I have a funny feeling when we stick mine on it will go away!

  14. Well if you take off your Twin Turbo pipe you will see the front turbo meets the air from the rear at 90 degree's. The mod is you stick a bit of alloy so the air merges nice and evenly. Ill go and find a link
  15. Yeah well if it comes down to it i will do it. But seriously I am so sick of spending money on this thing. Haha. I have never heard of this issue before.... either here or on the pommy forum. Could it be something to do with the 30 block and being taller then the 26 block? The extra length on the timing belt flopping around? Maybe? I have my limiter set to 8500 just so i dont hit it and I never rev it harder then 8 on the Nismo dash. Yavuz did spin it to 9 when he tuned it 12 months ago and it was still making over 370 rwkw... which was it's peak just over 5K (i think). Shush you! haha. 8 is enough. I still have the junk arse N1 oil pump in mine. Its done 20,000 kms....I would hate to smash it to bits and cost me a engine!

  17. Hey guys. R33 GTR V - Spec standard suspension + standard sway bars here. Has done roughly 80,000 kms. Only reason I pulled it out was to throw the Nismo S tunes in otherwise they would have stayed in there. $250 ONO Located in Georges Hall, NSW (Near Bankstown). Will post at buyers expense.
  18. Spoke to Yavuz last night. Steve, he mentioned you had issues with the CAS when the big power runs were being done about 6000 rpm? Did you just leave it or did you do that harmonic balancer thingo? He said its about 2K to do... Not too keen on that!
