  1. Whats wrong with stock coil packs? Buy the HKS Twin Spark and you will have no issues!
  2. Yeh. Ill see how it all comes back. He said if the shaft isnt straight, its rat shit. In which case ill have a report in the box with the shaft sent back to ACPT. If it is straight and all it needs is to be re-balanced i think ill be sending off an email with all evidence to show that it was unbalanced. Either way its something that as a consumer we shouldnt be doing. I'll report back with results when I get it back
  3. Finally got around to taking my shaft somewhere. They are going to check for straightness then balance her up. http://www.sydneydriveline.com/contact%20us.htm They are who i took it too.
  4. They do fit. I had them 800 Sards in a stock rail in my car. New plugs are needed as is a little lube to help get them in.
  5. If its the standard item its not that hard to do in the car. It will take some time though. It took me about 8 hours to work out how to get to every nut. Get a few 12 mm spanners that you can cut at different lengths and a decent 1/4 inch socket set. Remove all that you can on that side of the engine bay to give as much room as possible. It also might be worth marking where each hose came from.... Dont do what I did and pull the bastard back off because you crossed over a hose!
  6. Any reports guys? Any others that have realised they have unbalanced shafts? Andrew have you gotten around to getting yours done in Condell Park yet?
  7. ^^^^ Very nice..."Almost" looks factory!
  8. Previous owner of my car maxed out 700 CC sards at 1.6 bar on GT RS's (I think) . Went to 800 CC sards and its fine.... Still using single in tank Nismo pump. Get the 800's! It might be worth throwing a fuel pressure gauge to make sure its staying rock solid up top.
  9. Those of you who have bought this controller.... where did you mount the screen?
  10. Another competition user here
  11. Even just putting around... say sub 3500 RPM? WOT thats to be expected...
  12. IM in 2 minds here. Either the kakimoto Full mega N1 or the regu 06&R. Its going on RB26 pumping out roughly 400KW at all 4. Will there be much difference. Guys say the 06 is quiet.... How loud is the Mega N1?
  13. I agree with the above. My car, (Tomei stroker twin GT-RS's) stripped a 11,000 Km old gearbox to bits. I have ALWAYS been careful of 3rd.... and the gear change which it happened on was not a very hard change at all. Lets see how the OS giken + input shaft + billet centre plate goes! Im half expecting my front diff to go pop.
  14. I have a "his" and a "her" extinguisher located on the front of the seat rails. Out of the way and very close at hand if the worst happens.
  15. Im getting fullboost (1.7bar) around 4700 RPM in 4th at the moment. (2738CC and 9.0:1 comp). Maybe this might drop with the next tune. Hopefully!!!!
  16. Andrew. Did you end up getting a reply from the driveshaft doods? I'm off tomorrow, I might go for a drive and speak to them.
  17. I have GT - RS's on the side of a Tomei stroker with 9.0:1 comp ratio and to be honest i think they are great. There is a very very slight choof choof but nothing to write home about. Perhaps with the 3.0 litre it would be even better. If you like maybe we could meet somewhere and see what you think?
  18. Whats the latest here?
  19. Andrew. I had a look yesterday while going down the street and couldnt find them exactly.... Perhaps we could choose a day and time and those that are interested rock up with their shafts? Might get it a bit cheaper that way... A Group buy of rebalancing driveshafts. How ironic! haha
  20. Off the top of my head the series 3 GTR's started from Jan 1997. But thee is no Series 2 GTR's from 1998. Nup nup nup
  21. After a day of iffing and butting. Im in. Not going to miss out again.
  22. Andrew. Edgar Street. Nice. I could almost walk there with my shaft!!! The re-balancing of the shafts might be a good idea. I havent done anything about mine as of yet but to be perfectly honest i DO want the shaft and if we can get away with having it balanced then im all for that. Thoughts guys?
  23. OK. My block on the side says (off the top of my head) RRR RB26-NS-A133
  24. I have them in my car. Tomei 2.8 stroker, GT block running anything up to 1.9 bar through twin RS's revving no more then 8300RPM. 12000 KMS and no issues Although mine are Jun main studs.
  25. 275/35/18's on 18X9 inch Excuse the size.
