  1. The plugs DO NOT have to be changed for 700's. 800's they do. 700's will be plenty. They will also fit in the stock rail (800's will do too with a little persuasion)
  2. ^^^ Ive never understood this "i'll just go for basic not noticeable mods and hope not to get caught" attitude. Have you stop and thought about if you were to have an accident and more importantly if you were to hit someone that you ARE NOT insured at all. You are driving a car that you SHOULD NOT be driving. Imagine being up for a $400,000 medical bill becasue you hit some bloke on the footpath. EEP!!! Getting caught by the authorities is the least of your worries! From personal experience if i had owned my GTR when I was a teenager i dare say I wouldnt have been here today. Driving dads falcon around i sit and think back about the mischief I got up to. I appologise if i trud on some toes, but its only the fact's.
  3. Has since changed a tad... with a nismo plenum and a duel feed fuel rail.
  4. Be interesting to see if you still have these vibrations. Was it in any particular gear?
  5. Just on 400 KW at the treads. GT block, Tomei 2.8 stroker, twin GT RS's
  6. I would. I had my GTR tuned to Shells V Power Racing and it isnt available anymore which is a royal pain in the arse. Retune anyone?
  7. ^^ Bought it before the exchange rate shat itself.... to it was toooooo bad
  8. To get the stupid thing to idle after installing a Nismo plenum. Oh and to drive it!!!! I think thats what I bought it for.
  9. Hmm. I have mine mounted on the rear branch (cyl 4 to 6) of the front pipes.... VERY close to the end. Seems to work allright. I dont know if yours if any better/worse.
  10. Another one for infront of the radiator. Mine is a 19 row with a 80 degree thermostat. No "jap brands" though... Does the job nicely. Highest on the street i have seen is about 110.
  11. Hmmm... This seems to be a dangerous exercise. My reccommdation would be to clean them.... but to use the Tomei throttle paste. Your dont want to be pulling those things off again with the motor in the car.... esp with a Nismo plenum. What a pain in the arse!!!!!!!
  12. Im gonna go with the above... A GT SS or a GT RS as a single turbo on a RB25? Hmm..... I'd be going bigger!!! 2835 at the minimum or a 3037!
  13. Although U have seen a mates car pump out overr 300 RWKW on stock injectors and fuel pump, I wouldnt encourage it. 700's would be more then enough. Dont go 800 CC Sards, our have to change the plugs for them! As said in previous post 600 or even 550's would be enough.... Im a man of overkill so hey!
  14. If you guys are getting those results with a stock capacity, stock comp ratio 26 and t04Z... the im ripping off my twin RS's on a 9.0:1 comp RB 28 and throwing on one of those puppies. Thats insane! Dyno pages PLEASE!!!!
  15. I agree with the above. All that effort just to put another set of turbo's on that has a ceramic wheel. A set of N1's would be a much better and safer option.
  16. Another happy 300V user here. Although im using the 15W-50 competition oil.
  17. ^^^ I run my car all the time at 1.65/1.7 Bar everytime i drive it. Dont want to go flat out.... dont be so heavy with your right foot!
  18. Have run up to 1.8 Bar on shells V power racing when it was available. Twin GT RS, Tomei stroker, 9.0:1 compression ratio. No problem.
  19. What year was the bend put in at the end of conrod?
  20. Would be nice to know the size of the pistons and the rod to stroke ratio of this thing! Must be pretty short rods!!!!!!
  21. If it's any help im running 270 @ 10.25 on a 2.8 Twin GT - RS's motor.
  22. Havent done that yet. I have got braided fuel lines and dont really want to take off the fittings. May have to. Could it be the fuel pump? Car hasnt been started in 7 weeks. Could it have shit itself due to lack of use?
  23. Hey guys Im in a little bit of a pickle with my 33 GTR. Over the last few weeks I have replaced my stock plenum with a Nismo item, stock fuel rail with a sard duel feed rail, Nismo FPR with a Sard RJ FPR. Got it all finished yesterday BUT I cant get more then 0.5 Bar of fuel pressure. (I have a Fuel pressure gauge in the cabin). I cant see or smell any fuel leaks, I have played with the FPR, screwed the screw in all the way, out all the way and nothing changes. The car will start with some help with the throttle but will die as soon as i take my foot off it. I have double checked the lines from the filter and back to the pump are not crossed over. Any suggestions?
  24. I might add my 2 cents. I own a 33 gtr. Drive it on the weekends. The lancer get's all other duties. Makes the drives in the GTR all that more enjoyable.
