    ^^^ Excellent. Just what I was after. 5 speed kit here we come Paul... in your box did you use the OS centre plate?

    Only reason being.... driving down the freeway at 120km/h theres no reason for the motor to be spinning at 3600RPM (or close enough to it). If anything i'd want to make the 5th taller.... it has enough grunt to push the tall gear.

    Well seeing that i smashed my box on saturday this OS gear set is looking like a very nice option. A few questions... Seeing that greenline have the 5 speed set cheaper then the 3 gear set... can i order the 5 and just replace it with my stock 5th? What speed are you doing at 8000 RPM with stock 4.111 diffs in each gear? Paul.... any issues with it?

    Mine wont be fitted for a while... typical big hp 3rd gear syndrome..... "gear go POP"

    Proberbly not... but it might mean they will look harder becasue the biggest thing in the engine bay doesnt look stock.

    Series 3.5 R33 GTR boxes have better synchro's. 3200 from just jap

    That would be right. I just ordered mine.... got it in the post last Monday, yet to be fitted. Oh well! It looks nice though

    Well my car (who was owned by Mik before me) cracked his stock block at 370 KW at the rears with a Tomei stroker. However this was a Series 3 R33 and from what i can gather these blocks were quite porous

    ^^ Nup. All non V specs, V spec, V spec II's and M specs had ceramic wheels. Only the N1's and the Nurs had steel exhaust wheels.

    I have one on my car Stock coils with GT-RS's at 1.65 bar. I have never run the car without it so cant comment on what difference it made.

    400 KW at the wheels on a R33 GTR air box no problem. No need to change it.
