  1. Busted on a track day running roughly 550 whp at the time. Now, I'm not sure if the damage was done prior or I did something that day. Maybe a shock load over a ripple strip. I haven't pulled it down to have a look yet. The new box should be here soon so I'll know what failed soon enough. There is a bloke in WA that has busted two of these OS sets with a 2.8 and low mounts also. After 12 months of research, talking to guys and manufacturers of gearsets, I chose the OS88. Yes, it's a lot of coin, but good luck breaking that. By the time you do a PPG 5 speed for example with all th fruit you're almost at a 6 speed sequential anyway, AND you're not still dealing with the stock gear case. Food for thought?
  2. Well they're rated at 800 HP... Apparently. I busted my OS 5 speed with 630 WHP (2.8 and -5's). It looks like either bent or broken a tooth in second. With 700 WHP and an RB30, I'd be looking at something else IMO.
  3. They must be slightly bigger than 08' ish V8 supercar brakes then.
  4. What if you don't want a taxi?
  5. Any rubbing issues? I have a set of 10.5 + 15's and with a 275-295 tyre in a little worried they're gonna hit the guards.
  6. What width and offset plus tyre are you running again?
  7. My top link and the link you provided, the specs are exactly the same. Are they the same product?
  8. Hey guys, I know this may be a pretty small group of people that can offer any first hand advice but i'm after some feedback on what shifter/strain gauge to run with the OS 88 that is due to arrive soon. So far I have found this one - the 'flat shifter' product. http://www.motorsport-sales.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=312&products_id=2576 I believe this is the item that Bobby is running in his R34. (Can you confirm Bob?). It looks the goods. I've also found the Hollinger setup. http://www.holinger.com.au/knobs.php Cheers.

  10. Poo
  11. Was waiting for you to say something.
  12. Two chances of making them fit in factory location. What you can use is your current front pipe. They bolt up when using the Full Race dumps.
  13. You may know the answer to this. Is the nose of a RB26 cam the same as a RB 25 cam? If it is, I wouldn't mind using the cam I have in there ATM (260 at 10.85), that way I wouldn't have to reset clearances again. I might take a treck out there and see what the results were.
  14. Yep.Or try Windsor exhaust. Have seen a few nice systems come out of their doors. Nice guys to deal with also. R35 GTR brakes under 18 inch TE's
  15. They do... But only certain wheels (TE's, LM GT4's, RPF1's, CE28N's). Stuff with big brake clearence.
  16. Hakan at performance exhaust, Northmead.
  17. Why does it step from 3.5 to 4? Why not go 4 inch from the merge? What's a bronze finish?
  18. That's farken Aweful. Wtf are you gonna do with that apart from gay homo straight line rubbish?
  19. Ever get the result of this?
  20. Stock BOV's are not at their limit and don't need to be touched. Spend the money elsewhere that actually improves the car.
  21. Just had a look on your pictures. You have blue caps. I BELIEVE. Those light blue ones are Sard 700's. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/447134-sard-700cc-injectors-x6/ Same colour as in this for sale thread.
  22. Just checked the receipt on your car, Pete. I can't find injector size anywhere.
  23. I'd say you'll be needing bigger injectors than those peanut 700's, Pete. Especially if you're going to flex tune it.
