  1. they've got the cable water ski there next to panthers too.
  2. I think the big one out that way is hitman tuning. I think. But theres a few more, can't remember off the top of my head.
  3. Very true - I found it's the cheapest way for me to blat my car legally. But at the same time I know I'm annoying the hell out of the proffesional guys that are there to do testing/practice etc. I just try to get out of the way the best I can. And yeah, turn 4-6 must be annoying for the pro guys trying to get around amatuers haha!
  4. Just hope it's not another bahrain type addition it make it worse. I guess silverstone can never be bad though.
  5. I heard silverstone has been updated?
  6. Full Name:David Keane Car Type: r33 gtst Newb or not: not newb Most recent lap time if not newb (can be another track if necessary but make sure you mention which one): not timed around EC, but I goto alot of L2S days # of Drivers: 1 # of Passengers & Name: 0
  7. Reviving an old thread. I'm in the same situation - but I was thinking of getting a breaker bar on the nut and a friend to give the engine a very quick crank. Am I crazy?
  8. My godfather used to have a 575 maranello. He let me drive it a few years ago down to pizza hut to pickup some pizza. I was a pussy and was too petrified to boot it. Beautiful car though - I'll see if I've got any pics.
  9. I found the exact same problem on my car yesterday mate. I'm getting a catch can and then driving round for a week or so see if its excessive blow by or dead rings. Or the turbo. Maybe try the catch can, or do a compression/leak down test before you spend $$$ on a new engine.
  10. Yeah your right, the car does idle funny in the past three months and it has lost a bit of power. I'll pull the pipe out next week and see how it goes. Thanks for your help though!!
  11. Just checked all my intercooler pipes - they are all on pretty tight!!
  12. ahh yeah. Didn't realise the pics didn't upload, 2 secs I'll get em' up.
  13. Sorry to revive an old post, but during my searching I found this thread, and I think I have the same problem. I bought some new coilpacks, and after I removed some intercooler piping I found a decent amount of wet engine oil. It's the pipe leading directly into the inlet manifold. See the attached pictures. I've hit a bit of panic mode, but I'm not too experienced. What do you guys reckon?
  14. saw the plane in action driving back from wagga this weekend just past (27th/28th mar)
  15. Yeah man can't wait. It's hard to say no to the $$$ defence pays you though. And it's all tax free. It just sucked cos I missed out on christmas, new years, aus day, and my g/f's birthday over here.
  16. 8 days to go Corrine! four months drags on when your stuck in a fkn desert.
  17. yep he's here in dubai with me.
  18. just got back from the v8 supertaxi's. The track looks mad and the facilities are pretty awesome. They didn't use the full F1 track though.
  19. I'm in the same boat mate. I'm flogging mine off for $6k to a mate, which I'm devastated with, but hey, real estate is the wiser decision so you kind of have to bite the bullet at some point... If anything, keep it, if you've got the space, don't drive it and let the rego lapse, and deal with it later on when yu've bought your house and are in a position to get back into cars.
  20. We use it on aircraft because nitrogen is an inert gas. It does not expand or contract with temp increases or decreases (but mainly because it's not as explosive as oxygen). It's pretty much futile on cars. Probably only worthwhile on serious competition cars.
  21. i dont think so. I got stock s2 r33 coils you can borrow. not sure i live anywhere near you though. What else have you checked? spark plug gap? fuel filter?
