  1. I've made stainless steel on the bike look like chrome with this stuff....recommended by chromers & pro polishers.
  2. Just saw Rob Kelvin on 9 News say that a young guy in NSW was clocked at 263kph in a 1995 Nissan held together with cable ties........you can expect alot more Nissans being pulled over in the next coupe of months thanks to this clown.
  3. Top right hand corner where it says "options" go in there and make sure "display mode" is set to "Standard"
  4. I also bought my missus a new bike today & my boy got busted on his..... SIGN HERE KID!

  6. +1 Unless you're buying something very expensive thats worth inporting for the $$$ you're saving or unless the vehicle is rare in Aust I wouldn't import. For what you're after, you'll probably find for similar price in Sydney.......fly there and drive back.
  7. Ha, Ha, lol...what if you wear pink shirts and build fat ass choppers??
  8. Correct lol
  9. Wow that warfage fee is what killed you! Was there another ship that goes directly to Melbourne or Sydney?
  10. US markets are always the best indicators being the largest bike market in the world. You're right about all bike sales dropping slightly in the last 12 mths but its nothing more than a correction after the ballistic sales in the previous few years due to shows like 'American Chopper' & 'Biker Build Off'. Compare current sales to 10 years ago and you'll find Harleys were the biggest contributor. (see below) Road Bike Sales in Aust 2008 Checkout sales for roadbikes in Australia for the 1st quarter of 2008. "Underlining the strength of Harley sales in the road-bike sector is the fact that if the 668 sales of the Honda CT110cc (as used by Aust Post) were taken away, from Honda's total road-bike sales it would make Harley the number 1 selling road-bike in the land."
  11. Hey that seems abit expensive Lee, was it put into a container by any chance? Roll on/roll off is usually no more than $1200 unless there are other costs in your price for the dealer to bring it to the docks etc.
  12. Hey, I don't kiss on first dates and I'm very high maintenance, I nag and every 28 days you'll be at risk of being stabbed in your sleep!!!
  13. you could spend $3K for M/B & Card combo (not incl CPU) but would be overkill
  14. Wouldn't bother....GT cards can be run SLi if you got some spare cash.
  15. Ha, ha, lol.......last time I checked, my Bible tells me he calls the shots with the rain. Just found this on the net after last years National Comp on the Gold Coast. Try & pick the ugly mug in the back row holding the biggest trophy (came home with 3 from 3 in the end.) Best Paint in 2 shows & Best Over 1200cc Mild Custom in Australia!! Gallery The Winners
  16. was that 420hp or kw Steve?
  17. Yeah thanks........alot of people make this mistake but you may be surprised to hear that mine isn't a Hog?! Nup sorry you're wrong Stevee Boy, God is too big and too old for a Nissan, and with the white beard he looks just right on a big old springer Shovel Head.
  18. Go down to Peter Stevens on your bike (so they can see that you are a serious rider) and take some of their machines for a spin. First time I rode one freaked me out a bit because of the weight, vibration and I wasn't used to sitting so upright with my legs stretched out in front but you get hooked real fast! Ride a good one and you'll want one.
  19. CORRECT.......and Eve rode in the side car, hence the invention of the Softail with the springer front end due to the undulation of the roads before excavators were invented.
  20. About 10 years ago I loved the red 916 & 996's and didn't want to know about Harleys .....older & wiser now, I'm eating my words these days. In another 10 years time I'll probably get a Hog as my last bike.
  21. On the subject of reliability......I can't think of a bike more reliable than the Hog. Knuckle Head & Shovel Head engines have been around since Noah and are still going strong today.
  22. They sure are.....you don't buy one to go fast around corners or down the 1/4 in 9 secs......I think you've missed the whole point of owning one. They're amongst the heaviest and most expensive bikes in the world yet they break record sales year after year and they hold their value better than most other bikes.....must be doing something right. Harley's selling a lifestyle that other manufacturers can still only covet. If it wasn't for the Hog there would be no Easyrider, Stone, Harley & The Marlborough Man and Wild Hogs! I t-boned a Datsun 1600 years ago on my old Gixxer 1100, wrote off the bike and nearly killed myself. If I was on a Metal Monster I would have pushed the thing out of the way and kept riding. Thanks to Willie G. Davidson the Hog's been around for over 100 years and it won't go away in the next 100 unless Jesus bursts through the clouds before hand on his Softail Night Train. God rides a Fat Boy!! Why a Hog
  23. we live in the foothills and going up our steep street with a 50cc might be asking for miracles
  24. I'd get something like that for my missus if it could get up to 80kph.......I think 50 or 60kph and its screaming its head off?! Wonder how much difference an 80cc kit would make to performance and price comparison to a bigger scooter? Maybe I'll convince her to get her bike licence and get a 125cc or similar.
