yeah, times have really changed. Back in the day, power came from big cams, big carbs & blowers.........good for the drag strip, shit around town. Now you throw on a couple of snails with a small cam (V8 OHV) or cams (OHC) and you have not only a drag car, but a grocery getter

For track only; I found the new Project Mu "Club Racer" pads were pretty good on my last outing.........not very dusty, didn't experience any fade, and relatively quiet for a track pad. As far as rotor wear goes, not sure yet but they seemed to be reasonable. There's always gonna be a give & take situation when using a track pad. Going by personal experience, the best working pad will tend to be a little harsher on rotors than a street pad. EDIT: You're not gonna run a track pad on the street anyway (change them back to the street pads after every meet) so I'm a big fan of these babies so far.

When I sold my 34 GTR, the buyer wanted me to drive the car across to the other side of town to his mate's workshop for a complete going over. I had nothing to hide so I obliged him.......even if it did cost me approx 3 hours of my time. In the end, if someone is serious about selling their ride and the buyer seems legit and not just a tyre kicker, it's just the sellers time that needs to be sacrificed.
