On the subject of mods, there is another SAU-SA Club sponsor that you may want to consider for advice before commencing......WILLALL Racing @ Gillman. Martin from Willalls will steer you in the right direction with advice on "bang for buck" mods..........you may leave surprised as to what constitues value vs wasting money on so called obvious mods, ie. sometimes pods and intercoolers can be a waste of money in certain situations. Dion's advice, re a mechanical check-over and complete service is a good one and needs to be your 1st port of call. The other reason that I recommend this mob is because all their testing is done on the track and not just a big (often useless) number on a dyno..........big numbers don't always mean quick cars. SAU-SA Club has the occasional track day, so you may want to consider whether this is for you as well.........all the best.

Hmmm, don't know about that Andz. Find me a track anywhere in SA (be it 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile, circuit or hillclimb) where a stock Skyline can outrun a stock EVO

Yeah good point guys, this slagging business has reared its ugly head a bit lately........I'm gonna keep a closer look for that sort of thing in the future. There are many cars out there (members of this forum even) that turn my stomache but I keep it to myself.......one person's idea of trash is another person's treasure. Even the slagging towards that red 34 with the big chrome rims has to stop (I've already deleted a couple of posts by 1 or 2 peeps), you know who you are.......I don't think the owner of that car is a member of these forums but if he was to join in the not too distant future, it wouldn't be very nice to go over past threads to find that shit. He'd probably disappear as quick as he joined.
