yeah without pics of the severity of the damage, I'd say Luke's on the money you'll need to remove every bit of debris out and if there's anything caught between the cylinder and top ring land, good luck getting it out. Also, any damage to the bore (below top land) will cause you grief unless addressed......you'll be surprised how even minor bore damage can affect the top comp ring

I can think of a couple of names that are considered the best players of all time but don't have the fancy medals to show for it like that mid fielder's medal that I don't even rate.........what's it called? Brownlow or something similar When players of opposite teams choose the best player for any given year and doesn't coincide with the Brownlow winner for that year, that's gotta tell you something!! I rate player's choices much higher than umpires. It tells me that umpires know shit!! Sometimes they get the voting right, but most times they are lazy and just look at the stats at the end of the game then give the 3 votes to the one with the most pozzys (even if the match winner had 1/2 the pozzys)..........hence usually a midfielders medal. Another thing, no one will lend out a good quality torque wrench, they are a high calibrated tool, cost an arm and a leg and can easily be stuffed up in the wrong hands. There are some cheap shit brands around that someone may lend you but I'd never let one of those anywhere near my engine......I'd do a better job going by feel (when my elbow clicks)

If the Club Racer pad hadn't been available (track only), the Type HC+ was def the one I would've used.......and it's a pad that you can drive home with and leave it in there. Project Mu win in my books but everyone has their faves I suppose.

Well I just got Dale's Brother Matt from "Growly Custom Machining" to slot my rotors and I'm a very happy boy. Thought this would be an appropriate thread rather than starting another one. Matt said that he would give SAU folk 20% discount = $100 for a set (machined front & back) He has various designs that he can throw on the CNC machine so give him a call. Too many peeps throw a bucket load of cash under their bonnett then get to Malalla and do shit times cause they can't stop...I reckon $100 was money well spent. Hey Tobias, I just checked this Ebay site out and noticed that they vary in price between $59 & $85........I'm guessing it's just a length issue or is there something else that's different about them? Would it really matter how long they are.......too short could be an issue I'm guessing??
