  1. nah, when we record covertly our voice is always clearer than the 3rd party's (muffled voice)....she's obviously hidden a dicataphone on her She would drive me to do a lot worse me thinks.........I think Mel Gibson displayed good self control IMHO..........can you say "Leach & Gold Digger"!!! EDIT: About those Rota Wheels......me likey these very much......wonder what would look good on a silver car? Silver, Bronze or Gunmetal?..........maybe the latter??? DPT AKA CE28N 18 x 9.5, 5 x 114.3 +22 Hyper Silver 18 x 9.5, 5 x 114.3 +22 Matt Bronze 18 x 9.5, 5 x 114.3 +22 Gun metal
  2. Lee, that's some awesome prices there....thanks for the find. I'm actually in the market for some rims so your timing is excellent
  3. your lucky that's all I did Weez.......lil bit below the belt for a female member bud
  4. commiserations Penny -> <- SLED
  5. and on top of your list Jake, don't forget the 'Cash Handout" fiasco and the 3 boats a week (due to softening of detainee laws) as opposed to 3 a year under the former govt. Funny how Gillard is prepared to bypass prime ministers of neighbouring countries to try and establish a detention centre on foreign soil when the previous govt has already done that and spent a fortune in Naru (Pacific Island) which was heavily critisized by Gillard herself at the time.....look at the mess she's in now, too much pride to use a centre that she had nothing to do with but slagged it at the time. Gee, I wonder why she's pushing for an early election.......a bit like her other labour mate (Nicole Cornes) cause the questions are starting to get too hard for her and she wants to get elected before she's found out!
  6. If Hockey was there, alot more folk would vote for the guy......having said that, he makes a good shadow treasurer so I don't know who'd replace him. DO NOT VOTE GREENS!! A vote for them is a vote for Labour!!
  7. Well on the subject of PS3's, if anyone knows of a decent one for sale at a reasonable price, give me a hoi please.
  8. Even though this is not an SAU-SA sanctioned event, I don't have an issue with the club banner being used on the proviso that it holds the club in good light........I wouldn't be too happy (and I know Shane wouldn't be either) if peeps were gonna start ripping skids in a public domain with sapol attending and associating the club with such behaviour. This event however does not appear to be that kinda thing though and there's the fact that some execs will be in attendance so have fun
  9. LOL, 2 good reasons not to buy
  10. Well done Damo....I bet Sam has mixed feelings about it, ie. no more lunches
  11. if you're only doing engine bays etc then pretty much anything will do. However, when you're doing stained concrete, pavers or stripping paint off walls etc, you need real power with a turbo head (pulsating) feature
  12. Funny you bring this subject up Tobias cause I've just been through the whole exercise myself. Let me know how much you wanna spend, what it'll be used for and I'll try and steer you in the right direction. You'd want to consider going petrol rather electric for starters (my personal preference). The Honda motors are very good but then there's the pump to consider as well. Beware of cheap Chinese pumps on Ebay and some local tool suppliers. Italian pumps are the way to go which are 'parts servicable units' unlike the cheaper Chinese pumps that fail under regular use and are a throw away item (not servicable).
  13. That's what a good camera can do for you Chad. I'm guessing you're loving it at the moment.......get ready for bigger HDD's cause it doesn't take long to fill them up once you get a new camera, lol
  14. Steve, how strong does that exhaust note sound when he's blipping the go pedal whilst watching the gauges???
  15. got any pics Adrian....what offset are we talking and maybe PM me a price
  16. haha, yeah sure Darren.....we all know that was you filming in that clip..........."what does it mean!!"
  17. Adrian, I know your selling yours but they may be a bit more than what I want to pay + they are only 9" whereas I was hoping for a smidge wider How heavy are they compared to a TE37 (1 piece forged alloy monoblock)....if they were a similar weight and the price was awesome, I could consider going for 9's not really sure Steve (guessing around +30 or +35)......they have to fit over Brembos & 355mm rotors
  18. WANTED: 18" reasonably light rims approx 9" to 10" wide that will fit over large Brembos (discs are 355mm) Please PM me with a mobile number, thanks.
  19. Yeah I should start looking for some 18" rims that will fit over brembos that are reasonably light (track use only) keep your ear to the ground Steve & others please......they'd need to be between 9" & 10"
  20. as I said to you the other night Abe before I had to rush off, light porting ie. removal of lips and ridges etc are fine to do at home but any major porting should never be attempted without a flow bench and the ability to cc the ports & chambers...also, get the seats machined (or inserts replaced) after, not before cause I've seen too many slips of the stones and burr bits ruin good seats
