  1. Too true.......there so many half decent shocks out there that are ruined with nasty springs.......even my beloved Bilsteins can feel like crap if mated them with the wrong springs.
  2. Congrats on your 1st day Carl...glad it all went well, HOWEVER, about that marriage proposal, consider it withdrawn forthwith..........you're too high maintenance!!
  3. I considered that before buying the D90 Dave but then you don't get the advantage of the zoom multiplier which is handy for my line of work. Pros that tend to be more concerned with wide photography only, tend to go for full frame (I think)......but then you can always buy a fish-eye or wide specific lens if wide is your thang.
  4. I had the Canon 350D..........they're up to a 550D now which is not a bad SLR (relatively compact for an SLR). I've got a mid level camera now, the Nikon D90, which I'm pretty happy with..........the Nikon D3000 is also a good camera but you can't go wrong with any of the above.
  5. Since I rarely ever post in here, I'm gonna make up for it. The 10's are finally starting to grow on me in a big way. Kristian, where are you??.........What's the chances of a Jap Spec 10 GSR with the Premium Package for a good price?
  6. what are we watching?????
  7. Don't put your house on it sunshine.........I howl at the moon!!
  8. Imagine if Abbott got thru next election and had Howard's Treasurer as his side kick...........The Abbott and Costello Show!!
  9. unless someone was injured, I'd save my cash cause you'd get nowhere fast
  10. I'm waiting for Joe Hockey to put his hat in the ring ^^^
  11. Whoever stands against him tomorrow (possibly Julz), protocol suggests if they lose, they'll be turfed out.........Julia is taking a big chance but a calculated one me thinks now that the right wing heavies are all against Rudd.
  12. LOL Kelly.......tell him you want a plumber NOW!!
  13. Peeps are getting a little confused here. The date & time of the offense is what is taken into consideration when applying appropriate penalties, HOWEVER the delaying of a fine payment or the set date of a court appearance may have an effect on when your term for loss of licence commences, it has no baring on the nature of the penalty though. Make sense now
  14. You are a little floozy whore Lukey Boi........what party tricks can you perform You should've come to Kadina mate
  15. Council never pay....you should know that by now, lol. It was the Centre that paid but like I said, if someone gets injured, get a lawyer and go the council.........they WILL lose! Try hitting "SAVE" rather than "OPEN" Deano
  16. Deano, if that did happen with a bike and as a result someone was injured, they can throw their policies in the bin cause they'll all be running for cover!! I had a situation in the Elizabeth City Centre carpark where I parked against one of those concrete front tyre stops. They have 2 lengths of rio rod that they nail the things in place with but one of the rods had dislodged and was sticking up a few inches, just enough for my work car's front plastic bumper to hook on. When I reversed, it ripped the front bar off. This what I sent them with a massive bill and the buggers paid it, lol
  17. Hmm, I need a bit of paving done around the house Mark..........any ideas?
  18. ahh excellent work bud
  19. spill your guts Carl
  20. very cute bud.....good that you could see the pup before buying it too so saved the hassle with freight also
  21. sorry Dave, I should've used itallics Jenkies, the son of rajab has looked down favourably on you buddy, could've been way worse. Did you see any lurkers when you got to the car?
  22. Sorry to drag this one out but I just remembered it after speaking with Dion who used to work at kennels that breed Amstaffs & English Staffs. We've been considering an Amstaff for a long time now and after a couple of years of reading and research we decided to go with one whose mother is a well known Australian pedigree champ and whose father is a well known US pedigree champ (inseminated via sperm sent from US)..........hence why the cost is approx $2000. We and countless others must be crazy spending this sort of money then in light of this new info.......I should probably just go and get a stray mongrel from Davoren Park, take it outback and mate it with a Dingo, then as long as I'm nice to its offspring, don't yell at it or hurt its feelings, it'll be fine around my kids. So decades and decades of breeding out disease, imperfections and behavioural disorders is all a load of guff then..........what a fool I've been!
  23. Carl....................................................you're good
  24. all good ^^ It does pay to remind peeps of these things sometimes I suppose so well done
  25. you can tell it's not..........top dead centre on compression stroke is not important at this stage but will be on assembly of head and overhead gear.
