Steve, I'm guessing they're 1 watt or less? Luke Heslo, use the principle of $$$ vs Performance Gained to work out how far you should go........sometimes you can spend $1000 for only 5kw of power more.

nope ^^^ the date of the offence (even the exact time) is what is taken into consideration when points and expiration dates come into play......so it makes no difference when you pay or when you go to court

so what does an insurance company do when it comes to a pay out if the car is never recovered or burnt to the ground (unable to confirm proper alarm installation if any)........they payout regardless of policy

Troy you don't even need an alarm to be covered by insurance unless they absolutely made it clear that they wouldn't insure you without one.......if that was the case, they would tell you exactly what to install. Having said that, best to always air on the side of caution and check with your insurance company as Troy stated....it's only a phone call.

Pillow ball mounts are stuffed....get rid of them. Rubber mounts are fine for the street and occasional track work (and much quieter)....unless it's a track car, why bother with those things.

Save your money on lawyers if you've already appealed once....no good a second time unless you've got a very good reason for being 22kph over the limit on your P's. Cops are within their right to enter your property by the way.

Dom, from what most are saying in here, it's not only a $$ thing that you have to factor in your decision but also the heartache involved in the whole process (ie. brake upgrade etc). Unless you have time on your hands and the drive to do it, the easiest option is to start again.

You're not alone Carl. I love the fact that BMW decided their M3's needed an extra 2 cylinders whilst maintaining a high revving engine that's still nimble & responsive.....something that's usually lost when adding cylinders
