  1. Thanks Dave n Brett. About 150 came to country dealerships in Oz as manual trans. Do you think I should drop in a clutch/gearbox? I've driven a manual version before. Depends on $$ I know.
  2. Nice Brett! The former owner of the Maxima above bought a white one of the same.
  3. If I can afford them... 1) abalone aka paua aka bau-yee in oyster sauce 2) truffles 3) chinese mushrooms with beef and XO sauce 4) oysters with tabasco sauce ^^^ Extremely Exxy
  4. Great to hear!
  5. Seats, A/C & electrics are fine... Only done 81,000Kms Am about to spend some $$ & time on the engine - oh yes, and rego.
  6. Sold my Foz XT > Waiting on a 'new' import for my daily, but... > Picked up a cheap daily last weekend for $1K. Needs work on the donk... Owner scrimped with just minor services at Midas. But the body is just fine...
  7. Royal Purple makes different grades/weights, just as Penrite makes different grades/weights, just as Elf makes different grades/weights... ...so where are we going with this?
  8. May you PM me the Nismo Part# please? Ta
  9. Actually YES Simon! And I was following hand signals too lol.
  10. Nup. I can't see it. It's a bulbous protrusion. Probably where this NACA duct is Tim.
  11. I wouldn't blame the Yellow Jackets then, since they're of unknown age/kms. I've known Splitfires NOT honour their warranty - and Just Jap who sold them were pulling their hair out! Those Splitfires were only 145Km and 2 days old! AFAIK, Super Spark and Yellow Jackets always honour their warranty - sometimes when there was a fault in the car!
  12. So you PM'd him Za? Simon is usually very prompt unless he's away.
  13. Tim, Looks similar to the V-Spec II Nur one with NACA. But it doesn't have the diff jacking point that I can see. Pretty cheap!
  14. A set was F/S for only $500 recently - dirt cheap with no leaks. It think they'd done 70,000Km approx
  15. Perhaps Doug, it'd be a good idea to sell this beauty (again as a daily), in AussieExotics? Lots of Euro owners on there...
  16. I thought that aerodynamically, items like wings, diffusers, canards and undertrays are to help your car remain more fixed to the ground at high speed. But the way an undertray works, is to help create negative pressure between your car and the road. That's what I've been told.
  17. Hope it's sorted out soon. I had the same issue on a former GT-R. When the lid's closed one can forget about it. When you want to open it, one thinks, "Uh-Oh!!!" Got your notification with thanks
  18. Skyline Spares at Wetherill Park have just brought in two complete R34 GTR wrecks last week.
  19. I'm absolutely convinced that new Members who have joined up prior to our autumn and winter Tech Nights (for Members only) are eager to soak up as much info as they can, and will continue to do so. I learned heaps too. The only thing I would add, if JEM were to invite us back again, would be the distribution of Question Slips. These Qs could then be put into a hat. Thoughts? Bobby has graciously donated $200 to a charity of my choice after recently selling a desirable item on SAU. I've added a bit to that because Bobby and I believe in what the SAU-JEM association stands for > great education + getting things done right (if possible), the first time!
  20. "Jon Mannah's death linked to peptides" reads the Tele front page. Q. Could this be so? Can it happen to you? On the info I have... A. "Link" yes - "Cause" of Hodgkins lymphoma no A. High protein diets as well as supplements are known to accelerate cancers rather than cause them. Peptides by my old definition are chains of amino acids, ranging from 2-49. Over 50 in a chain, and you have a protein. A. Synthetically produced peptides I don't have a clue about, regarding acceleration of rogue cell production or apoptosis; or even a conversion of a benign cell into a malignant one. Moral. If one contracts cancer, switch from any high protein diet to one primarily of fruit and veg.
  21. Hypochondriac's tombstone reads,"I told you so."
  22. I concur with you Andrew about 2 very immature comments by a man who knows better. I proceeded to ignore the first one at 08.18. I have made indiscretionary comments before in my life - usually when I've been trying to be a 'smart' comic. My apologies would then require a dose of 'humble pie'. I'd be surprised if Duncan didn't do the same pretty soon.
  23. Beautiful! Eric's too!
  24. No rust - and very few have a factory roof Any person who loves caramel buds will buy this! Yummmm
