  1. Have ready to insert into the round dial, the cutout picture of a map!!! Useless GPS I know - but legal!!!
  2. When you alter the throttle position from the engine bay, is the squeal coming from a belt? Any different when you engage air cond?
  3. You sound like a very compassionate health worker The guy I think you were referring to was Yul Brynner. He did those "Don't Smoke - Just Don't" Ads after his mate John Wayne died of lung cancer I think. Yul's costar in "The Magnificent Seven" Steve McQueen also died of smoking related cancer. *Edit:- found it...
  4. Thanks on behalf of God_speed Oldie but a goodie! http://www.flickr.com/photos/21305018@N02/3340694113/sizes/l/in/photostream/ There's another one around here somewhere, with lovely ladies
  5. Might find a gem from an '07 Ad eh Mike? I'm glad you clarified things in your last post because in your first one, the R35 isn't a Skyline.
  6. Congrats on getting your complete item. For anyone else who might be after the triangular jacking plate, Peter at Bodyformaero has the template to make one up.
  7. Sprung! You 2 are supposed to be at a meeting! Lol
  8. ...yup and passengers just need approved helmet + long sleeve shirt/trousers + shoes + $10 + fingernails well clipped + breakfast digested at least an hour beforehand
  9. Just to add to the thread - not to detract from it. Dredged up from Aug '07...
  10. Welcome to SAU.NSW Adrian and Benny. By all means, your private meetups are fine... ...but keep checking the "Events" section for whatever the Club puts on. 26th May = AGM - nah you wouldn't want to go to that. Actually, you would!!!!! 3rd June = Texi - lots skids > lots of fun 5th July = Tech Night - about servicing, blue slips, engineering certificates + Cruise that might be appearing real soon.
  11. Yes, the R35 is better off in the last row & the R32 in the foreground. I like how the cars break up the straight lines! Great contrast!
  12. ...when police aren't waiting for him at Murwillumbah?
  13. Still that white n gold beast Sean
  14. Many thanks Corinne
  15. Yup, for a couple of years at least... But only if the car is comprehensively insured with them.
  16.    OK - the quote I've accepted is $440 for the coming year via Shannons.
  17. Shannons Just Car Lumleys SV NRMA (albeit the sum insured can be depressed) Dawes (only available through an insurance broker) My cars have been insured with all the above for certain periods.
  18. Has the car got Japanese history too? Are there auction papers available from Japan to compare to the odometer here? Does the odometer reading correspond to the condition of say, 10 aspects of the car? Is there paperwork proving all services done here as well? No rust? No damage to undercarriage and suspension parts? Comp testing done? If all the above are ticks, then it's worth over $40K My Victorian buddy is correct. Bayside Blue, Pearl Black, Midnight Purple II, Midnight Purple III and Red will boost the value a bit extra. Yardstick:- Just Jap sold a standard Sonic Silver R34 GT-R recently for $38K.
  19. Discuss with Ewen at www.skylinespares.com or 0410069096
  20. Different Models RIP Robert Twas good while it lasted.
  21. Old Models Any oldies here? Lol
  22. That's nice!
  23. Have you tried Nisswreck, Skyline Spares and other Nissan/Datsun wreckers?
  24. Usual V-Spec rear diffusers have a central hole where an aluminium nodule pokes through. This bulbous protrusion is held on by 3 rivets and a bracket. Bodyformaero aka Peter made one for my first R34 GTR diffuser. In the above pic, I can't see it, so jacking might have to be done via an arm; or remove the diffuser initially.
