  1. We said much the same with slight nuance differences hehe... Yes Humma, it's only your bad luck if you let her wriggle out of it! Did you hit her at the rear of the bumper OR on the side of the car? It's easier for you to prove that you're not at fault if there are scratches on the side of her car.
  2. You can have a loan of my moisture detector Adam. It's actually used for detecting termites behind walls - and has three settings to 'see' through brick or gyprock or timber. So in effect, you can pass this hand-held electronic block over carpet, boot lining and such. If you wish, I can bring it down to Earlwood on Friday.
  3. If she came from an adjacent lane into yours, she is still at fault. Get onto a traffic lawyer. If you're in NSW, we have a list of traffic lawyers on a "Traffic Lawyer" thread. Most don't charge for an initial consultation for a few minutes. If the lawyer thinks that you are not at fault and have the other driver's details, your lawyer can draft a "Letter of Demand" on your behalf and go from there.
  4. Disgusting.
  5. Congratulations Kristian on the pristine R32 GTR V-Spec II that has just been picked up by SAUer Chris a few minutes ago! 34,215Km and it's like new! Full Jap history, no scratches, no sag or wear marks on driver's seat, engine bay looks like new, no seepage, no rust. It's a gem!
  6. Yeah, well it went off to Greece. Probably not worth much under it's economy; but perhaps it can be resold in a richer country. Back to thread, that Z-Tune was being serviced here in Sydney by an RB specialist.
  7. Fuel-frugal is good! I just cannot have it both ways...
  8. Sorry, but I'll be going to the SAU Annual General Meeting that day, as will quite a few others. If you wish to change the date, you can ask GoldZilla to make an alteration perhaps?
  9. Really not a bad price when you consider that 265/35/18 can be used on a 9.5" or 10" rim too! ...and then if you're in Sydney, ask Luke_GTR to do a discount tyre swap if required. Rims are made by BBS & are light weight.
  10. Thanks Richard (- constructive as always)! ...and methinks we sometimes don't give enough credit to those who promote us, ...god forbid that we need to resolve a conflict or two with anyone who demeans us.
  11. Big Club - Great Club - Countrywide Club. We're proud of it! Where lately, have you spotted "SAU" or "Skylines Australia" in signage, stickers, FB, someone's jacket/shirt or in magazines??? Do you like it - or do you want to improve on it? Was it promotional - or derogatory? My latest is... current Performance Garage magazine - Issue #11 (also performancegarage.com.au) "SAU" is mentioned on pages 49, 51, 52, 57. biased bugger
  12. The one F/S here on SAU Chris?
  13. Congrats Ricky - "xntrq" > Exec Congrats Ciaron - "crashdown" > Exec ...for the busy year ahead.
  14. iwanta34gtr will want that methinks! PM him.
  15. ...been reading about this on another car forum. Research not done > pay the penalty.
  16. R32 GTR last night Fairfield Plate # RB26HD Goes pretty quick up to speed limit.
  17. That's OK. It takes a man to update; even if it conflicts with previous info supplied. One of the Z-Tunes in Oz was run on Elf Excellium SC 5W-40 which I then ran in my previous VS2. I didn't have it long enough to see incremental changes at each oil change.
  18. Here's a comparison on my 'new' daily (that I picked up 2 weekes ago) - registration due to-day. It's just a '97 Maxima GV As I said earlier, Shannons gave me a CTP Green Slip for $440 The existing final 2 weeks of rego was piggy-backed by NRMA CTP. My NRMA Renewal CTP costs $742 for the same car & personal particulars. Q. The difference? A. $302
  19. Does anyone else have CCTV in Henry St? Check with those people!
  20. Will watch out Friday around there. Insured? Any CCTV nearby that might have footage ? Dreadful dreadful
  21. Pearl Black R34 GTR V-Spec II Nur good enough? PM "Huy" in WA.
  22. Might attract the odd Torana tho'
  23. I like.
  24. Is it true that more coats need to be applied to the front lest stone chips muck up the coat? Is there a hardener for such an area? Which is better between dip Vs wrap in robustness (regardless of cost differences)?
