  1. Is it true that more coats need to be applied to the front lest stone chips muck up the coat? Is there a hardener for such an area? Which is better between dip Vs wrap in robustness (regardless of cost differences)?
  2. Don't you evvaaa touch my car!
  3. Those things can be a bit touchy or intermittent. Once diagnosed, not hard to fix.
  4. Your XT has the metal air pump. Mine had a plastic one that permitted leakage of air into cylinder 1 and maybe 2 leading to corrosion if not rectified quickly. It would throw those two codes and impair cruise control. So your XT never had that problem. And by 2008, Subaru had gone back to a metal pump.
  5. At least your XT never copped the P1410 and P2432 fault codes that mine did.
  6. Umm, Brookvale Brett. An offshoot from Envy Dyno Day by SAU. 'Twas the very day that Pezhead, God_speed and I joined up as Members. The Haltech R35 had just come up from Melb to be prepped fror WSID and subsequently blew sumfin The ADM R32 GTR is owned still, by gtr_fan The R33 GTR was God_speed's And I had there, my first R34 GTR
  7. +1 for Huy's VS2 Nur
  8. I think Chris is referring to the fact that... * whoever installed the security system, may have configured it their own way * the brand of security system hasn't been revealed; or at least PM'd to Chris * black wiring makes things harder - especially if we don't know yet if you're conversant with a multimeter * we don't know your locality for us to relay who best you should go to It's likely that your VS2 has had the security system installed in Aust. Is there any clue in your manual folder in the glove box who that is epolly?
  9. For those who are thinking of getting an EVO, but have never driven one... >> gotta sit in it >> gotta warm it up and drive it >> gotta take a corner in it >> see how it brakes >> check the rear vision mirror to see if the smile has become permanent (Permanent Smile? ...sorry, I'm still obsessed with the Patrol advert from 1991)
  10. GT-R + Foz Hard to beat a combo like that! You might be tempted to keep her! hehe...
  11.    It depends entirely on what Dan's missus is used to Luke. If his missus knew that her partner was a castoff when she met him, she'll be happy with "used". But if she knew Dan was a virgin, she will definitely prefer "new".
  12. Yes, his OzFoz User Name is "PCXT". Had lunch with him 2 weeks ago - discussing OzFoz Tech Nights I'll try and find a link to his build after I get this damn court report finished. I hate doing them but worth $880 (with zero outlay).
  13. I sold my SG9 XT for $13,500 and that had 201,000Kms. So this should go with your discounted price and half the Kms. One of our OzFoz Members has upgraded his > 283awKw without much fuss
  14. Researchers are still trying to find out how this bird flu is being transmitted from chickens to humans
  15. Flow Chart is very easy to follow Thanks for making up a visual mind-map. Data just needs a bit of fixing (eg ENR > RB25 is RWD)
  16. I can bring his car back anytime I like!
  17.    I bought the 10 Tenths Racing 10 in a 20l drum for about $120. Trouble is... I can't remember if it was on this F/S forum or the OzFoz F/S forum - sorry
  18. Sounds like an insurance company! (old fart's interpretation)
  19. Something goin' on between you two that I don't know about?
  20. So it is Adam! My bad. TEXI is 10/6/13 EARLY (I wonder why I've always thought that Queen's B'Day weekend was the 1st weekend of June?)
  21. Other Tech Nights are being arranged for the future, and so we'd like your suggestions please in the NSW >> Members Section?
  22. ^^ Yeah that's tough. Must have beern aggressive. Mostly they're slow growing. Bit too late for pumpkin seeds for prevention - but not for us. Hope he gets through.
