  1. "Disability Parking" for us 2 ...but I must have the same spot.
  2. Had my tonsils removed when I was 4. In 1953, some surgeon had a brainstorm that maybe, my asthma would improve if they were removed. He was wrong - the clown. Oh yes, one more thing... If you have lots of repeats for penicillin, beware of getting Candidiasis - prevented by taking probiotics after each antibiotic course ok?
  3. Lol at OCD-Club
  4. Feel sorry for relatives of those who've died - yes W. Gympie too and a 3 yr old kid (watching the river) squashed by a tree.
  5. I just love the sound of chalk scraping across the blackboard
  6. I echo what Nick says James
  7. There's more than two people here on SAU who have the Foz/GT-R combo! ...to help Foz go around corners respectably

  13. That's good to know the west coast has a keen bunch of guys too! Must say: the GT-R/Foz XT Combo has been a good mix!
  14. Yup, Engadine is highly underrated what with... * views of Sydney * access to Sydney by train * Royal NP * feeder roads south, north and west (via Heathcote) * short drive to the coast * sporting facilities * even temperatures * above most of the smog * some nice houses as stated above
  15. Well, well, well !!! There she is!!! The Winner of Best Concours at the R34 GTR 10th Anniversary!!! Prepped by Eugene Chan. Btw did you receive a copy of the Certificate signed by Mark Skaife?
  16. Let's make up an Official SAU Cruise on 3rd March in conjunction with the 300ZX club for a great cause - one of their club members - a dad of at least 3 kids and husband to his wife Kylie who's become brain damaged at childbirth. He's also been a wealth of info to that club whilst a mechanic but had to close his workshop down due to his bedridden wife and carer duties. We can start off at Sutherland at noon perhaps > Royal National Pk BBQ? Discuss at Exec or General Meeting?
  17. Hi Rob, * If anyone is free on 3rd March, I recommend this to be a wonderful cause to attend > contribute * If one can't attend, after reading the first 7 pages of that link, I don't know of anyone here that wouldn't contribute a bit of moolah if they could! Whilst reading the link above, it becomes very apparent that Eric isn't just a well respected mechanic on the 300ZX forum. He shows himself as a Dad one minute who's thrilled about his and Kylie's new arrival; to showing utter despair at his wife being clinically dead for 37 minutes > brain damage. Eric has to regroup to raise existing daughters on his own + a new baby son, whilst Kylie's brain activity falters badly. Eric is beside himself. He's had to close his beloved workshop. He's had to sell up stuff to become a full time carer/Dad! He from what I can glean, is a lovely lovely man that needs our help!!! Thoughts and prayers I will say for Eric, Kylie and their kids in the meantime! Some of you guys have been saying "prayers" too I see. Details of Sutherland rendezvous please? After the Exec Meeting on 6/2/13, we'll decide on how we'll parallel you guys and then merge. And bank details for donations, are... A/C Name: DRZED BSB# 484.799 A/C# 053072134
  18. Nulon makes 2 grades of Octane Booster. Once I detected pinging immediately after filling it with 98, I started using the stronger version of the above - trying to boost the octane up to perhaps 104 in the tank. I kept this up until replacing the Mine's ECU. Result:- Whilst pinging reduced somewhat, but not completely, 8 tankfuls later when I switched to a PFC D-Jetro, the plugs were just about etched to death. Moral:- I wouldn't use the octane booster for more than about 3 fill ups - in the interim, getting that new ECU if the existing one can't be remapped.
  19. Yes, it's OzFoz Eric. That's been a very good club.
  20. It's been known to pull the odd chick or two...
  21. For anyone else looking at this, check your PDS, because it may be that your insurance cover is only valid if your 3+ way immobiliser is activated. I'm sorry that your car's been perloined by some scum.
  22. I'm a Queenslander gone south. You're a New South Welshman going north. Let the "state of origin" begin!
  23. There's one weak spot > One baseball bat > No genetic defectives > Done Aust a favour > 2014 Australian of The Year

  25. I can see what you're sayin' Historically accurate too. '53 my Dad bought a Holden > thought it was a POS '55 he bought a Vanguard > another POS '59 he bought a Peugeot 403 and loved it + they kept winning rallies after the 402 '62 he weighed up between a Falcon, a Fiat or a Studebaker > Fiat 2300 which nearly won Bathurst and loved the power and the braking '67 he bought a Falcon which was reliable but spartan '72 was the first of a trail of Datsun/Nissans None of our family have since had a Ford or Holden except my sister married a Ford fanatic and a son bought an EB XR6 > sold for profit > EL XR6 > stolen > profit > Maloo > profit > 1 tonner Holden project > VL Grp A > sold for profit, but loved Nissans along the way. Back then, I just sat on the sidelines and smiled.
