  1. With baseball bat in hand, I've been trying to track you down for ages. Isn't that a good enough reason to leave NOW?
  2. Damn pretty thing. I know it cost you well over $150 to have this polished but... "Tell 'em the price son!"
  3. Very Nice Alex! I suspect that the LMGT4s are 9.5" wide - meaning 12.7mm wider than quoted
  4. Tried "Lumleys SV" Insurance?
  5. They'd look really nice on millenium jade too.
  6. $14,000 ...because this Manual Rexxie Engine has just done 200***Kms Ph# 0416214699 * All services done (using full syn oil) and logged + 7 months Rego * Engine is stock - never been tracked * Number plates come with the Foz * No damage or rust. Just a crack on driver's side mirror housing * Diff back s/s exhaust with nice Rexxie burble and no drone on hwy * XYZ Coilovers near new with 30 settings * New front brake pads + spare rear pads * Whiteline 22mm rear sway bar with HD links * Ultrex front strut brace * Nudge bar * Narva lights * Side steps (removeable) * Tow bar - only used to tow SAU.NSW trailer * Momo gear knob to match steering wheel * Blue tooth
  7. Will do if it comes up!
  8. Agreed! Try both of the above (so long as services have been done)!
  9. I do believe that yes, there should be a time limit via which... a) a claim must be put into the system b) all photos should be taken and filed within an extension of that time - and that this time should also be finite c) all parties be notified monthly ...but alas, we have an imperfect system. I do hope your powers of negotiation are successful (and keep your cards close to your chest) > the other party then has to weigh up... i) do I accept the amount on the table or ii) risk getting nothing if he goes belly up or iii) negotiate further to see how much this Nathan guy has
  10. I've PMd you Michael to see if you can approach Andy with a Plan B. Can you do that pls?
  11. I'd certainly call up Andy at MotorActive and 'get your knees dirty' as you seek his approval! PM me afterwards eh?
  12. Is there another Member here who'd like his bonnet 3M-wrapped by Meguiar's staff? It's a remarkable offer for someone to make their car more of a head-turner!
  13. In 1970, I used to pinch my younger sister's oil based crayons (white or yellow) and it was like 'colouring-in' hehe... I forget, but it might have lasted a couple of months I think > Kleber tyres never looked so cool lol.
  14. Shucks. I was hoping you were cancelling so we could use up a "reserve". Andrew's been added to the "reserve" list. Actually, I can't wait to see how a professional wrap is done! ...oh yes, and to meet up with you guys!
  15. Orthopaedic Surgeon:- Are you sure Mrs F that after the accident, you can only lift your arm up to shoulder height? Mrs F:- Yes Dr; only shoulder height! Orthopaedic Surgeon:- OK Mrs F; Show me. Mrs F:- Here we go. See? Shoulder height! Orthopaedic Surgeon:- That's good - very good. Now show me how far you could lift it before the accident. Mrs F:- Up here (above the head) Dr! Umm, Oops. Can I try that again? CTP Insurance Co:- We'll need to look after our shareholders and increase premiums again this year guys!
  16. Apologies. Perhaps you can PM it to me?
  17. Thanks to you Jayson and shazza and Richard and Duncan and others for the logic in this here thread - despite the heartache - and keeping the emotions in check. The owner of my former VS2 has been going through a similar legal process as some of you may be aware. I too, would like a PM of the workshop please.
  18. Spotted as a wallpaper on a shop terminal to-day... Matt's work was released less than a week ago! > Couldn't believe my eyes!
  19. Sure Bill. As we get closer to 21/2/13, just watch Post #1. Kind Regards
  20. Latest News:- * cpd is a volunteer to have panel scratches/swirls removed * darksky34 is a volunteer for a bonnet wrap > approved * One more volunteer required - a member - who'd like his bonnet professionally wrapped ??? Many Thanks to Andy Spira - Meguiar's Mngr and Matt Bowen Meguiar's spokesman on the night
  21. Well there you have it guys! Andy the manager of Meguiar's has spoken! He's sprung a surprise by offering a panel to be given a professional 'wrap' treatment and that's for not 1, but 2 volunteers PM me as well as Phone Andy at MotorActive at Silverwater to discuss you volunteering your car and the panel suitability. You can discuss what texture and colour with Andy too - since there's a multitude to select from! Owen aka cpd already has his car available to have oxidation and scratches removed on the night. So we need 2 more as stated above for a panel wrap!
  22. So glad to have "Meguiar's" in partnership with SAU again Andy! Many of us still remember Meguiar's acting as a sponsor of SAU's R32 GT-R 21st Anniversary in 2010. Along with Jim Richards (who signed Award Certificates), Terry Ashwood, Nissan Aust (East Coast), Daily Telegraph (with NISMO's R32 GT-R N1 as Cover Story), Just Jap, Top Secret Imports, Autocult.net, Motive DVD, Performance Imports Magazine - Meguiar's with their generous gifts made that Event about the biggest there has ever been! I've done little - we on the Executive just love to have a good time - and furthermore, watch fellow Members have a better time.
  23. Very much appreciated Colin - Yes!
  24. Funny, but I've seen a couple of Pulsar ones the same size > take your own to size up at "Pick n Pay Less"
  25. Sigh... (rofl) I hope no-one rocks up tonight!
