  1. Is the ACT ready for the SummerNippons? Actually, I wouldn't mind Holden resurrecting Bolwell for you young'uns ....umm that's how old my memory goes.
  2. Yep, you're IN Ryan.
  3. Took my wife's 530i Chris > Parked on Burwood Rd If it's your GTT, I'd park it at the front or end of the line of cars if poss. But no, it would never enter my mind to use the GT-R and park it there.
  4. Did you know that depending on the tide, quite a few low lip cars can't get on/off the ferry without...??? Tidal info on that day is...???
  5. Chinese:- Chan's Garden Seafood Rest't 73 Burwood Rd Burwood Six of us ordered 7 courses + rice/tea > $55/couple A La Carte was better value than "Banquet" on offer. 8/10 rating
  6. blackjack404, you're good we're nearly full up folks...
  7. That place needs a good old picket demonstration to make the business go belly up. And that's just the start...
  8. Is anyone watching "Food Inc" on SBS atm? Thoughts? *Addendum:- Just mentioned how E.Coli can get into our beef - patties (that is)...

  12. Just some points for reinforcement that "Simon Says"... * the types of beef mentioned are well balanced in the amino acid and B vitamin department. Beef jerky and mushroom jerky are good foods on the run. * processed meats aka smallgoods like ham, bacon, sausages and even pressed the t-urkey load down the kidneys and liver and reduce the immune system to takeover by E Coli > HUS * simple sugars/carbs > hypoglycaemia > slowing of metabolism aka BMR * complex carbs like fruit are meant to be taken in season with local fruit. This is due to enzymes. Winter fruit enzymes help with immune system. Summer fruit enzymes help with skin. Most have antioxidants. * sugar substitutes like 951 (aspartame) and 950 (acesulphame) can cause graves disease, gliomas, lymphomas, breast cancer. I never touch the stuff. * alcohol reduces BMR (basal metabolic rate). If you get wind after beer or wine (fermented drinks), it's best to occasionally have distilled drink instead. Yeast sensitivity is common > take a course of probiotics every 3 months. * oatmeal contains 2 substances that reduce the production of LDL cholesterol. Any person who's parents are on cholesterol meds should be taking oatmeal rolled + foods with strong vitamin B3 * the myth about the dangers of cholesterol in eggs has been debunked by Simon. Eggs contain good cholesterol (HDL) as well as bad (LDL). But the HDL/LDL ratio is very good in eggs. * fried foods including Chinese are out (unless sautéed). Transfats are out. These should be replaced with essential fatty acids as in fish. For joints, salmon and swordfish are good. Steamed homemade Chinese I think is good. They say that throughout all the provinces of China, you could eat 3 meals a day for 13 years and not eat the same dish twice - lol

  15. Understand - Ta Next Q:- By removing the cable, does one use a tool (eg pliers) that will leave a telltale mark on the collar so to speak? Just wondering if this is what one might look for to identify tampering? PS:- sorry to hijack this thread
  16. Is it this cable that's manipulated when malingerers wind back odometers JEZ?

  18. I'd contact JapLink Motors > talk to Todd saying that you're from SAU & give him the VIN/Chassis# > he may be able to do a check on the car.
  19. ^^^ Love the colour combo/contrast. Looks distinctly familiar somehow
  20. The EVO 7 owned by MaTBoY here on SAU may come up F/S at some stage. Otherwise if it's brought out from England, Kristian is known to cross-dress into an 'Iron Lady' and she's even easier to deal with - just sayin'
  21. Funny... I called him at 2.15 and he could remember the BsB VS2 that he tinted for me - and yet he sounded stoned. Solvents don't do that do they? Doesn't Daniel at Carbon Systems do tinting too? At least his network or TSI's network can give you a heads up.
