  1. Staged accidents at Bankstown don't help.
  2. Being 66yrs old is my excuse. It helps
  3. Ok. Appreciated. I'm learning...
  4. Offroading today. Kanangra Walls > Kowmung Creek Fire Trail It could have been wetter > more muddy > more fun. But yes - FUN!
  5. You'll do a good job I'm sure Shèhan about advertising decency and good behaviour (knowing your attributes), and having run biggies before.
  6. Yes great Shèhan and whilst motoring photographer Stefan Trajkovski has been enlisted to take pics all night including your display car, you'll get nice shots!
  7. Or "low"!
  8. If you're buying a GTR that's already landed in Aust I'd preferably buy one through a car club on Fb or SAU itself. If a member here doesn't wish to fix up problems, he's more likely to sell it through gumtree or carsales. If you're trying to source it from Japan, your importer will try and procure one from private treaty or at an auction house. Some auction houses attract better or poorer/cheaper cars than others. Some importers may have a man on the ground to do a physical inspection as well as pore over the auction sheet. Some Japanese owners may set too high a reserve and the car may get passed in only to reappear a couple of weeks later. Doing your maths:- Add about AUD$12,000 to your Yen Bidding Limit and then compare with what you can procure here in Aust.

    Rip R35 Gtr :(

I'd support mandatory gaol sentences for these parasites. And I'd also advocate hard labour to be instituted instead of a gym.
  10. I don't know anything about them. I guess it's up to me to find out instead of living in a closet. I was told by the interviewer that there's a large following overseas and mostly about JDM.
  11. They seem to be correct whilst I was pointing downwards at about 40 to 60 degrees from horizontal each time which would make each reading relative I suppose.
  12. Ok try Annvar.com as well.
  13. I've just been interviewed by SpeedHunters.com Apparently there are a few followers in the US. Do gtr owners you know of, follow that site? How do you find SAU? Pros and cons?
  14. Doesn't Edward Lees sell LMGT stickers to stick on the inside of the barrel and then recommends to spray coal tar on them for that genuine look? Btw, are there not any residue/genuine stickers still there on the barrels? Maybe they've been sandblasted and repainted huh?
  15. An all day affair - if a cruise by Skylines Aust.NSW isn't enough. After Megalong Valley tearooms for lunch, it appears that a few of us - hopefully many of us - will go down to SMSP for the Jesus Racing Event into the night. It's a family event, dyno afternoon and an exotic car show all rolled into one.
  16. Good to see you guys. I hope you can organise some events now and then.
  17. Our property of 3950 sq m yes, does include this... So with my IR Laser Thermometer I decided to check temperatures around the block. Most places had cooled off. But... This unobtrusive position came up as 91.9 degrees. And a few smoking spots registered above 250 degrees. Interesting?
  18. Black Friday was horrific for you guys at Maryville and Kinglake. Communication is a lifesaver when it's operating. Tragic when it's not. And when at Kinglake there are so few ways in or out of there, communication is critical. I carried out an experiment 36 hours after the HR (hazard reduction) during AF (after fire) stage. A week ago, I bought myself one of these 'thingys'.
  19. aka euphemistically as party drugs, recreational drugs etc should be called Fark Up Your Brain drugs! These are the most evil insidious things on earth that will infiltrate demotivate and destroy future generations in what has been a great country. They've progressed from pot to lsd to heroin to speed to coke to ecs to ice to flakka... All cause a spike in a variety of up to ten or eleven brain neurotransmitters aka endorphins and leave the user dead in the water. The nice spike can last hours or only a few minutes. By chasing after the original hit - hit after hit - a) families get screwed up b) money goes to the drug lords and down the chain of command c) chromosomes get affected in offspring Do you know people who've just 'lost it' on drugs? Alcohol is not illicit but yeah, it's a sleeper...
  20. Roof racks would be the way to go. And you can buy cheap kits off gumtree or eBay. Some racks allow you to place the whole bike on top. Some others require you to take the front wheel off and attach at the forks.

  22. Mick, yes I was too lazy to turn the wheel for the front shot. Thanks for feedback. Appreciated. New Nismo stickers are on thanks very much! They're the right size. I had another set which are too big. Fujitsubo Titanium 80mm. It's fairly quiet. It replaced a Mine's exhaust. Still running with Mine's Y and Dumps
  23. Thank you. A Pic taken yesterday...
  24. Standard Fuel rail. Denso 700cc injectors. Duty cycle is a safe 70% approx. 319wkw. I have been told that there do exist fake Nismo FPRs around. For my use, the standard FPR would have sufficed, yes.
