I think I would keep a watch out for JDMs in Australia too. As much as Aussies preferring to sell to fellow Aussies, we've been blessed with quite a few cars which have been modified already and modified well. Some of the tuners are very good at what they do here. And many owners are picky. Mind you, the bad ones can be sorted out in various ways too.

SAU.NSW had a Tech Arvo at Syriops Engineers and we were told that if you're at fault and the mods are responsible then your car may not be covered. The car would be covered if you have an Engineering Cert and the mods are listed. If you're not at fault of course your car is covered; but your mods are not covered if damaged whilst not listed on the policy. Primarily for insurance purposes, have all mods listed. For defect clarification, get an Engineering Cert and if you want a fully built engine covered by insurance, tell the company about that too. Insurance premiums don't go up too much with mods added to the policy.

HKS ECUs can be tuned by Tune House as well as a a couple of others. I have a disk manual for this too, if required - gratis.

Well last yr I went to the Hillclimb which was Round 1. This yr I came to Wakefield and SAU didn't disappoint one bit. Congratulations to you SAU fellahs for prepping your cars for this track and well done!!! Tis great that Nulon should sponsor such a range of events that bring out the best of this Club!!!

The Bulladelah Hillclimb put on by Nulon was again a great test this year. SAU guys can hang their heads high through the improvements they've made. So congratulations to ya. Thanks to Nulon for being able to grab such a course 2 yrs running!

May I then suggest that you from USA make $$$ comparisons between other countries and Canada when the 25yr bracket creep continues ever onwards. In fact do you guys exercise vigilance about the issue of corrosion when you're considering your purchases? I hope so. Canada would be rife with rusty cars I presume since the old days before salting their roads (and used nail-type tyres).

Owner's and Service Manuals have been available in English for the R34 GTR too thanks to the importation of these through Nissan UK via Andy Middlehurst Nissan St. Helens. Workshop Manuals for the BCNR33 in English I've owned as well but I don't know what market they were intended for.
