  1. Genuine Nissan. No longer required. Putting external coil packs on (race car).
  2. It was probably dead anyway. They are a serviceable part and need to be replaced.
  3. Incorrecto. All the ECU does when it sees this input is richen up the mixture and i believe advance the timing. Not having the input just makes it harder to start.
  4. Yep there is a wire that needs to be connected for crank signal. Pin 43 on the ECU if its s Non NEO 25. Should be grey with red trace. Needs to be wired to the starter soleniod wire. Black with yellow trace. (Should be one already near the ECU in a plug)

  6. it will have pretty much no impact to how the car runs. Certainly not idle. If you had an exhaust leak from the head to manifold or turbo flange gasket then yes, it would have an affect. You said you putting a 25 in it. If you are, stop spending money on this 20 now. No point in wasting more money on this engine when you won't be able to transfer a lot of the cost over to the new engine. Have you got Nistune at all? If you dont, dont bother buying it now. Wait until you have a 25. I wouldn't even bother repairing that exhaust setup now. Unless you plan to keep that turbo with the 25.
  7. Have you got Nistune? Have you had it tuned since you got the car? If not at least checked base ignition timing? Injectors may need to be pulled out and cleaned. Air regulator might be faulty. How much money you wanna spend at the end of the day.
  8. Whack looking waste gate setup. But i'm sure you already had another thread and asked all these questions before. Simple answer, get someone who knows how to make up an exhaust, make you a new dump pipe. Get him to weld a small section pipe directly to the waste gate with a v band flange on it. Then another v band flanged bit of pipe for the actual waste gate pipe. Then plumb it back into the dump pipe down stream or atmo vent it, What ever you want to do. Go to AM performance, he's in the North as you are AFAIK. Expensive but good work. You'll be happy. ECU only looks at the 02 sensor under cruise and light load conditions so you wouldn't have even noticed it being disconnected. Maybe excess in fuel consumption. But chances are the 02 is knackered anyway. No offense, but you appear to create thread after thread about why your car doesn't idle correctly / miss fires. But have you actually done any of whats been suggested? Like changing your coil packs, igniter, coil pack loom, cleaned the AFM, checked for vac leaks, made sure the AAC valve is functioning correctly etc etc.
  9. Its coming from your 22" rims and your purple coloured interior bits uleh.
  10. Yes I do agree. Suspension and brakes should always be first.
  11. How did you work out it's got nothing to do with the BOV?
  12. Nice project. Looking good dude. Why only 30E?
  13. Check for vac/boost leaks everywhere Plumb back that BOV.
  14. People have issues with them. I'm a person of do it once do it right. Second hand split fires can be had for $300 - $400. "GTR" (R32 RB26) coils are no different to RB20 coils. Don't rule out the igniter either. They fail.
  15. Don't buy yellow jackets and you won't have to worry that they are marked differently. Split fires or OEM.
  16. The 001s are for RB20, S1 RB25, R32 RB26 The 005s are for S2 RB25, R33/R34 RB26 The 008s are for all NEO engines
  17. Not entirely true. NEO coils will only bolt into NEOs and you can't bolt in any other RB coil into the NEO. In answer to your lazy question you need SF-DIS-01 coils.
  18. If your mate doesn't want to get stuffed around more I wouldn't recommend this builder.
  19. This. HI octane type was designed to be used with long cam cap studs.
  20. I used Hi Octane baffles. I used the foam and factory separator. Cam cap baffles need to be moved to 6 and 7.
  21. Here: http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/catalog/nissan-timing-belt-bearing-stud-bolt-set-genuine-nissan-skyline-r32-r33-r34-dohc-rb20de-rb20det-rb25de-rb25det-rb26dett-p-883.html Pretty sure they ship internationally as well.
  22. Putting this in the for sale section and stating your location will help your cause.
