  1. removing turbo ftl youll be stuck with a low comp ratio and long gearing and general gheyness i personally like the look of the four door. but whatever hope you can find a nicely priced 2 door.
  2. removing the turbo and running it atmo is not easy, cheap or practical its probably much cheaper to get an atmo then dump in your favourite boosted donk...

  7. putting in clutches sucks. you need like 4 guys to get it out you need to get that bad boy all lined up then you need the guys to get it back in again with at least five minutes swearing when it wont line up. then you gotta bleed that bad boy but yeah i dont think most workshops will let you take part because of insurance and stuff why not just let some other guys do it and watch? lol

  15. yeah im thinking boost leak somewhere in the intake as well so the engine would think that it isnt getting enough air, and will hunt in the rev range until it thinks it has enough do you know that its oil smoke?

  17. yeah i wouldnt drive it in that condition get it towed to the mechanic, have him take it apart and take a look at it with you there if you dont trust your mechanic haha
  18. the charcoal canister contains activated charcoal. i think fuel vapour from the tank goes into this and is absorbed by the charcoal it doesnt hurt to have one of these. smaller canister will generally mean that the activated charcoal will become fuel-saturated over time, im fairly sure its an ADR that the charcoal canister is there possibly you shouldnt take all of that as gospel though, i only learned it at tafe last semester... and i was fair hungover that day =D

  20. 9.9V is really low. its meant to be around the 13 mark hows your battery?
  21. do the bulbs look normal? or are the filaments broken or the glass dark? if they look normal it might be wiring or the connection itself tried sanding the contacts?
  22. yeah take it to a mate who has a battery tester if the level of liquid is fine, it either means the plates inside the battery have started to wear, or the acid solution inside the battery is too weak if youre ghetto, you can just drain the battery, refill with the acid solution and see how you go from there or you could buy a new battery with higher CCA thats the same size = less stress on the battery
