  2. Was thinking that the ride height is nice and low...i know i run mine higher and it looks gay for it. I am not fast so have to remember to look and sound it I have another date with a Caterham, this time an R300 race car. I wonder if the magic has worn off or after driving it i am still going to be hungry for one?
  3. He has to relinquish control and interests in businesses sanctioned by FIA. Its a farking joke. I like Renault but this is a crock of shit and disgraceful the way its been handled. Effectiveyl a slap on the wrist because they know there is genuine concern that Renault and Toyota are going to walk . Worlds premier motorsport my ass, and they know it it doesnt look good if 4 teams leave in 12 months. Worst of all is hs hackness. If my boss asked me to sign dodgy paperwork i would tell him to pull his head in...if he told me to crash and risk injury i would set the guy straight and walk.... His Hackness is a disgrace of a sportsman, with the rest of Renault management disgraceful

  5. I will give you 60k for it. Thats the going rate for a pedigree R32 these days isnt it? Yeh, the Weds are lighter then the homo TE37s i have got now....stupid me. I may have to grab back my 17x9 Weds and accept that i will only get to run 235s and not the 255s i hoped to run in the 9.5" TE37s.

  13. My old housemate had a neat R32 with 25 conversion and one day was pulled over and the agro meant he had to sell it. I think that car had just been converted from WA to VIC plates. My understanding is that even if Vic Roads let you walk out of there with the updated rego papers, that in no way means the car is legal or roadworthy. f you are pulled over then the issues stated above rise to the surface.
  14. It was advertised on here. Nice car, i woudl love it, but to me its not worth anything. Even if it was the Bathurst 12hr car...it got its ass handed to it, i recall it broke during the race...and the following year the Falken money went to Carlind who was running a Maserati Shamal. So nto to say its not an interesting car, or cool, but it doesnt seem to have history...so is just another ex race car which to means its worth less then a nice road going example that is actually quick. But i sincerely wish the seller all the best selling it...but he may struggle asking that sort of money

  16. Keen to see your GTSt running again Gary. Its great having Two Besn Racing and Adz off the forum playing with GTSt as its easier to see what is working. I am happy with what i am running, but always curious to see what is working in other peoples cars. I will most likely grab some MCA as i think i can move either my Teins or the MCAs to somebody once i have decided what i like best. Thing is if i have to pay to get the shocks re-valved after runing them and another set of springs then there is no way i can consider them. Just need the confidence that the first go at a setup is going to be closer to the money then what i have now which i think is damn good
  17. Have any of them been quick out of the box, or have they needed some work/re-work to get them right. Just an obersvation that whilst they are a great product, they may need some development to be right for Skylines straight off the shelf. That is my only concern with going to local product that because they are all so customised and have not been commonly iffted to Skylines they are a best guess, or you are meant to spec them as though you have a team of engineers working for you and know exactly what the car needs. vs off the shelf mass produced stuff that is closer. But beauty of the GTSt is that its all pretty straight forward front engined rear wheel drive
  18. I am not saying that they should be Malaysia. I think the way Toyota go racing etc is correct. You employ the best people, and typically they are out of Europe. They have the most experience, the right environment and education. Trying to make this a Malaysian venutre is the wrong approach. If you had my experiences workign with Malaysians on engineering projects...well, you would not be tipping Lotus to be ahead of the other teams starting next season

  20. The Lotus announcement makes me laugh. I have worked in Malaysia, work wit lots of Malaysians in a highly regulated industry and its laughable that they think they are going F1 racing with Gascoyne and a Malaysian team of designers, engineers and mechanics. Can also guarantee that whoever this Sauber buyer is, with BMW leaving Petronas probably have ann avenue to walk and will go with Team Malaysia, i mean Lotus
  21. So, interesting times at Renault. Old Flav and Pat, are they escape goats, more to the blackmail claims again the PK hacks? Either way, i would say Renault will lose its way without the two of them....and by years end Renault will not be in F1 as a manufacturer, at best they will be engine suppliers to Williams with a technical working relationship with Williams, just lke the good old days when it was Williams-Renault LOL, my crystal ball is working well today
