  1. How can you say a weld in cage increased the value of the car? My experience has been that weld in cages mean that the car is effectively a full time race car, which limits the buying public interested in the car to effectively race only. Secondly, i have found those wanting a dedicated track car with a full weld in cage typically like what they like and when they see a car with a certain cage, they often dont like the cage and would like the cage design to be different. Again, limiting the range of appeal the car has. So, not saying you are wrong, just shringmy experiences
  2. It was nice sitting on teh balcony with a beer, with this view, listening to Sports cars race around Spa Wonder if RBR can find their assess this weekend?
  3. GT-RS is lagger on an RB20 then a TD06-20G setup. I say setup as it included manifold, gate and turbo. So not a fair comparison when up against a bolt on GT-RS...but that gives you an idea. A little less power and a bit more lag from the GT-RS, but bolt on convenience
  4. I paid a bloke to get a tuk-tuk onto two wheels...do i get a trophy for that?
  5. Is that similar to the ride height you were running with the DMS? You are a good 15-20mm lower then me
  6. Its not noise, its music. I was about 15kms from the track when i went, and on the Sat night of the 24hr race i say on the porch drinking dodgy beer and at 11am you could clearly hear the sweetest noise of GT2 and GT3 cars screaming, popping and farting on the downchanges...ok the farting may have been me
  7. I cannot belive SPA residents are omplainin about noise, with track mangament having to issue an Environmental Imapct Assessement, obviously they just threw a was of documents at them. Problem is this has now been found to bed deficient and they have had their licence to operate pulled
  8. High flows are typically 420-450hp. I ran a 12.9 with only 220rwkws. So i would suggest a 2530 or 2535, buy a second hand unit, they are very durable provided they do not have damaged wheels. Look around for a 350hp turbo and you will be right
  9. Just stay away from the Towers...errr and if you have to go keep your wallet in your pocket....err and if you have to havea go then make sure you have two rubbers and some tiger balm....if not of that makes sense then go back to rule 1...stay away from the towers
  10. I am trying to decide between Oktoberfest in Munich and Singapore this weekend. Working in India is horrible but from tiem to tiem does present me with some tough decisions. Mick, you should PM me your contact number before you go
  11. To the best of my knwledge HKS = Holinger, so should be easy to get parts, only expensive
  12. More of #7 & 8
  13. Catcing for the other team? Whatever, the guy shall ever be remembered to me as His Hackness!
  14. yep, but only if i get a steer:)
  15. South Korea...fark me
  16. May be time for a used OS Giken SR20 gearset. I have been on the lookout. If i find some i will let you know. Blolody VLs and Silvias eating up the supply of engines and gearboxes...also the bloddy R31 GXE crowd LOL, there,
  17. Any man that is that old and banged up yet still knocks up Heidi Klum plus all the other good things he has had in his stable....add to that the guy knew nothing of motorsport but through wheeling and dealing and the Beneton family got deeply involved in all things high level F1. I just like the guy because i wish i was him.
  18. I will post it again. RB30s are for people who rather roofies then romance and who think handjobs off hookers isnt include as paying for sex
  19. Hey i love Flav, but he farked up big time and got too clever for his own good. The penalty they have handed out affects a lot of people, teams and classes of the sport. So seems very heavy handed against Flav and seems everybody gets off easy. I wonder if this was because the info was so damning or another not so level headed ruling by our retards at the FIA?
  20. Dane, T67 or TD06-25G? On your built motor with an 8cm housing it wont be too bad a thing. The 20G is smarter all round bet, but meh, the hit of the 25G has me hoping to use mine
  21. TD06-25G in a twin charge setup with a Rotrex supercharger. Should be an interesting setup Not really, have the 25G there for shits and giggles, if somehow some of the other mods help response (new manifold, inlet etc) But i also have the current TD06-20G, and a TD06L2-20G which i am getting rebuilt with a water cooled ball bearing centre)
  22. Windows down is far too loud and too much wind to hear what the engine, tyres are doing. Without wanting to sound like a tool, i am basically shit scared most laps i am driving fast so kind of focussed and dotn really notice if i am hot, or the cabin is hot etc. I agree if you are doing races etc. Bt i cant remember the last time i did 10laps in one sitting. Doing 5 laps at a time is a breeze, irrespective of ho hot the cabin may or may not be
  23. Just need to get a POV 1.5 and will see if i can man up. It pains me that i didnt do Eau Rouge flat (though i did it with a lift on turn in)....going to take my skirt off and wear my wife beater this time. Flat or good footage of the OFF! ..AND Ben, i have four Whiteline sway bars you can pick up when you are in Melb. All adjustable, and different diams. Hell try them at PI if you like, or take them home and play with them. I have some new ARC ones so dont think i will be needing them. lol unless the ARC ones are a disaster
