In my dreams. They're in the sanctuary and sanctity of my office. I'm wondering if she'll notice once they're fitted. The irony is she has absoluitely no interest in my bogan-mobile but she seems to spot stuff with a hawk eye........ and keeps mentioning some 'secret fund' she thinks I have.....

Well, my brakes turned up today. Pics attached but I'm sure we all know what they look like. Rear hat is aluminium which is nice. Everything came as it should have done. Now for the fitting next Monday and then 1000kms of normal driving before they get onto the track. I've got 2 weeks to do this in before I'm at Sandown....... Funnily enough, the recommended (by the vendor) run-in procedure is simply 1000kms of raod driving. No hard stops. No getting them hot etc.......Seems contrary to what I've heard, but his view is that only old pads needed this approach and that only old blokes still advocate it.....Hope that's not too controversial. Got to get the coils changed too. Hopefully get them tomorrow from Slide.

How old are they? How even is the wear? Any flat spots? Can you delivery to Welshpool?

Thanks mate. Kind of an unusual offset. I think the 10s are too big and I need front and back to be the same as mine is a GTR. Thanks anyways.

I reckon give the guy a call and get a quote as your situation could be quite different to mine. Are they painted or anodised?

Just had a set of R34 GTR rims repaired which included repairing gutter rash (on the lip and the spoke which is a pain) and respraying. I think matching the colour of this rim is quite a difficult thing to do, but this repairer, through trial and error, has the paint code and it is a near perfect match. Might save others a fair bit of time and hassle. They are: Matt Coleman Wheel Solutions Off Church St Richmond 0412 553455 I've used them twice and both times great results, and I have no interest in this other than to be helpful.

Thanks for your input Ash but I think I'll go for a more robust and permanent solution. The CPs are now 18 years old and I can't be fugged going on my next all too rare drive to miss out on my fun because my....erm....wife's nail varnish didn't do the job. Glad your trick has worked for you though.

You got a PM. Offset is likey not quite right but if you're not too far away we could find out for sure with a trial fit.

No worries. Contra is on. +15 on 9.5 won't work for me so I'm not sure how it will for you. http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp According to this going from std R32 GTR rims to 9.5 +22 you push the rim out 27mm.....+15 makes this 34mm which is too much without guard rolling and camber etc. Hence RPMs rims are not suitable. They are basically an R33 GTR offset. Let me know if you think different.
