  1. Quality not quantity......
  2. When my engine was re-built the builder clean my throttles. GTR throttles have a teflon coating which after many years of wear, plus the cleaning, no longer seal 100% hence the high idle. The carbon build up was probably sealing the throttle with its body. My idle screw is adjusted as far as it will go and the natural idle is 1400! but it's managed back to 1100 with the PowerFC. Not great but better than 1400. You can re-coat the throttle blades but this is (for me) a pain and expensive, so high idle it is.... That's my experience.
  3. I have a set. I've just left you a voicemail. Sell not trade. Cheers.
  4. What he said ^^
  5. For those who have a care factor greater than zero, the solution to this is go to a good bolt shop. Dandy Bolts gave me a bolt, washer, and allan key for $3.75 and my spare is now tied down nicely. Easy.
  6. Sold subject to payment.
  7. Bump for those who want to buy this set up 'whole'. I'll be in touch with those that want parts shortly if not sold 'whole'. Slow down for the New Year with my brakes.
  8. Thanks Mr Frontbum. Any other thoughts peeps?
  9. Does anybody know what this code means for the offset?
  10. Due to a brake upgrade the old spacesaver is now useless. Accordingly I've shoehorned an R34 GTR rim into the cavity normally occupied by the spacesaver, but now I need to secure it. I've got an idea to make up a new piece that goes through the bolt hole in the wheel and screws into the receiver on the bottom of the boot. I've attached some images if I'm not making myself clear. I've also sketched up something I think I need to get made up to do the job. I'm wondering if I'm making life too hard. Is there another way? Has anyone else done this? Perhaps it's as easy as getting some off the shelf parts and putting it together myself? Keep it simple? Due to the 'cavity' in the rim where the wheel nuts normally go, I'll need a long Umbrako style head to be tightened with an allen key as there is not much room in there for a 'finger key'. Probably the 2 biggest questions is the diameter of the rod and the pitch of the thread (which looks shallow). Any advice gladly received. Cheers.
  11. Your choice but don't rush to change the wheels. It will never be the same once you change them. Spend the money on suspension and it'll look tough enough on the stockers, and handle too. It's a lovely looking car. You've bought well by the looks of things. Congratulations.
  12. Pick and and paid for at 5.30. That's a record right?
  13. PM replied and quite possibly sold too......Quickest ever?
  14. Bigger brakes mean the original rims do not fit on the car anymore. These have been 2 packed and are very close to the original colour. They have a few small chips but overall are is absolutely great condition. No rash. Nearly mint. Tyres are Dunlop D01J Semi Slicks. They would be at 40% at a guess and 18 months old. They've only been off the car for 4 weeks. Very even wear and good for at least 2-3 track days to come. No flat spots etc. For semis these are quiet and could easily be used on the road. Wet weather grip is excellent and in the dry.....say no more. $650. Can freight in the New Year (at your cost). Pic below shows what the rims look like. They are all in idential condition.
  15. If it all works out for the R32 brakes and you've not committed to the brakes you've found I've got a full set of R32 GTR brakes including 2 sets of pads. All in near to new / very good condition. Check this out. http :P/www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...s-t248527.html Cheers.
  16. I'd prefer not to right now. Maybe try me in a week or 2. If no bites for the full kit, we'll work out a price for the lines and rotors.
  17. Good quality only. What have you got? How much do you want? Pics please.
  18. Bump for those with Christmans Spirit. Perfect for under the tree....
  19. I might just add that I've had a recent personal experience which I found upsetting. A guy who works for me's son was in the ute that collected a tree in Upper Ferntree Gully the wet weekend a couple of weeks ago. His son is relatively OK, but 1 is dead and the other on life support and on last report. The whole incident has left him visibly affected. You can see the trauma in his eyes and face and in his voice. I won't go into details but the story is horrendous for all involved and will shape lives forever. Don't do it to yourself, don't do it to your parents, don't do it to anyone else. It's very serious stuff, that young men little understand or care for until it is way too late. Be careful and responsible and promote it in others.
  20. I've got a full set of R32 GTR brakes if you're interested. I have a thread on here about it. Let me know if interested.
  21. Tuff brakes for, er, smaller cars than the mighty R32 GTR. Bummmppp.
  22. Yeah, 32 GTR. I'd bet they're a struggle on a GTST. Ideal offset for the 32 GTR is +20, so you do need the extra tyre width to make em sit flush(ish). I've got 245 R Specs on mine which'll do the same job. Or spacers, which I've not researched and am not convinced about.
