I have 2 HKS air pods (running the standard GTR BOV, which won't make much noise), they make a "Sucking" noise when the turbos are spooling and a "Choo" noise after releasing the throttle. No matter what, your APexi air pod will flutter on stock or running higher boost. To eliminate the 'Flutter', box up your air pod, get a custom air box made up or you can buy one to shield your pod off. To eliminate it completely, reinstall the standard air box.

What's getting done? That's why if your car is stock, you don't run it. But if it looks stock and if there is so crazy mod under the hood, then you run it LOL!

IMO I don't think SMIC and FMIC have anything to do with 'Flutter'. Maybe something to do with the setup of their metal piping to make that noise. But most of the time 'flutter' will come from a BOV or air pods...

Japan has better fuel then we do here in AUS. I would use at least 95 RON or stick to 98 RON (For turbo car, it is a MUST). BP all the way! If not Mobil.

You can measure up the hole then buy some mesh and cut it up to size and either use some siler flex (Spelling) or a weather proof silicon to hold it down. I am not sure how easy it is to cut mesh, but you might need to get it cut professionaly... Unless you use very sharp wire cutters...
