Not cool at all I got held up doing a freebie on a mates car, turns out its the worst timing belt ever due to Loctite and stripped bolts etc.... Dodgy mechanics!!! On a positive note guys, the car IS coming... JEM tell me that Adam is working in it today and that if everything goes smoothly ill drive it home next Friday....

Adam is working on the wiring today and is confident it will start on Monday, the fuel in the tank was stale so it requires cleaning before the 044 is dropped in for startup...... Possibly driving this home next week if everything goes smoothly, but it is a car..... And I've worked on it.... So I won't get too excited just yet.... In saying that the car is already booked for the July SAU Newy meet'n'greet, Nirimba Texi day and Marulan track day so I am hoping it's all good!

75% is a bit high mate! Would be sussing that out ASAP! Obviously you have checked the coolant level etc? Fan operating OK? Hot/Cold spots on the radiator? My oil temp gauge would read high after a spirited drive but the coolant temp never budged

Yep really! i could have probably spent $8k at got 300rwkw with a low mount etc, BUT i wanted to get it really responsive and leave PLENTY of room for MOAR power later on...... Will probably be running around 350rwkw on the NEO for now....... The money quoted also covers things like Cams, Springs and Full Flex tune thought which means ECA blah blah blah so yeah, you can spend that if you do it the right way!

There was a thread in Drivetrain section man, locate it and get the correct info so i dont point you in the wrong direction..... From memory the NPC was rated higher than the Exedy HD

Good update!! Should be a lot of fun once you dial in some boost! i probably would have gone a different clutch though as others have suggested ones like NPC etc which are a good cost and gold decent power which at 18psi you should get a decent result

It indicates that something isnt lined up... The belt will generally straigten itself to the correct position as the crank gear kind of acts as a guide.... Either way, something is not right and i wouldnt be leaving it that way!

Yeah as Anthony said, the first one will just be an informal meet'n'greet sort of thing so we know who each other are etc...... But the sugarloaf idea is definitely one to take on board for a later date!! I guess the plan would be to have regular catch ups eventually with say a monthly Cruise which we have already had a few suggestions for which is all sounding pretty damn good! July 8 is good for me, ill lock it in for now... Car or no car i will be there BUT if its not done by then i will have serious issues LOL

If its a non turbo or a 20 box your going to get rid of it either way, so i cant see any drama there......

If you have any modifications its probably a good idea before even attempting rego, i noticed your "car(s): NEORB25DET R32 4DOOR" so i would be assuming you would need that engineered for rego
