  1. She really called you a knob? Fist pumping FTW!!! Just hope he didnt mistake it for abuse LOL On that note, keep spotting a nice silver 33 around the Terrace with black rims, clean looking car! Also, there was an RB of some description having some serious gate and limiter action near my place over the long weekend, YOU sir are what gives us a bad name And pretty ballsy on a long weekend i might add!
  2. NSW was pretty lenient every time i got checked with my old setup, the car was quiet and stock looking height (it does have coilovers)... I think you got away pretty lightly considering... IF you have an apexi pen type fit it right up in the right hand corner of the screen and you cant see it from the outside, or the inside actually but thats where mine is fitted (Not that i use it)....
  3. Odyssey batteries seem to be good, but they are pretty expensive Their CCA rating is pretty high too. A mate runs them on his Evo race car that is still road driven occasionally but it sits for long periods and still starts
  4. Well i think we have it sorted.... Cruise soon as long as a pub is involved
  5. Arrrgh! Damn printer wont work so i cant fill in the form just yet, can i just make payment to secure a spot?? Also, dumb question for you, with the Fire Extinguisher will the SCA $30 do? And if its mounted off a plate behind the passanger seat or something does that count? I dont really want it in plain sight as the whole build on my car revolves around looking stock.... Fire extinguisher: This is the trickiest bit, due to installation. $30 from Autobarn (or similar). There's some threads around where people have mounted their extinguisher under the back seat; Chubbs posted one ages ago, but I'm having trouble finding the link at the moment. Anyone who'd like to post it, it would be appreciated.
  6. ^+1 On another note, if its a grind more than a whine i wouldnt be driving it or babying it anywhere if you can avoid it.
  7. Smarta$$ Haha, sort of.... One of our work cars is 2 years old and is just over 200,000 NOT bad for a kia diesal.... Has done wheel bearings and diff bearings but otherwise all good.... My poor 34 has done many K's but if i keep replacing parts ill get back too 0km soon enough
  8. Yeah me too...... Oh, with 100000 in front of that LOL
  9. Maybe, BUT the quality was good so for a cheap option i support the ISC recomendation Mine is now in an RB26 powered S15 on here (SAU), it seems to be working well!!
  10. Just sent a message to a mate, he loves these things.... We are near Newy so not too far away
  11. Ahhhhh i want a 34GTR wing on my GTT soooo much......... Great pics guys!! Damn you Hanaldo, damn you
  12. A mate is currently dealing with just car at the moment and has been impressed with their help so far too Sorry to hear about your car, makes me want to install some kill switches and stuff.....What did you have fitted to the original one in terms of protection for theft?? Plenty of nice examples for sale, they are getting cheap too
  13. I fit one of these but couldnt stop the fan from touching the shroud, after reading up on radiators etc i ended up refitting the stock one as i never had any cooling issues before and the huge alloy thing just looked out of place in my engine bay, in saying that the ISC was really cheap and the quality did look very good!!
  14. Told you it was 3rd!!! But on a serious note, the 34GTT is a great car to build, it is also an expensive car to build as most parts out there say "suits 32,33 & 34GTR", the ECU's and injector options etc were a tricky one for a while, it seems as they are becoming more frequeuntly modified parts are becoming more readily available..... But as JustinP says, read read read...... Awesome forum with heaps of info to offer
  15. There is a PWR on eBay at $400 at the moment.... Looks to be on OK condition by the photos... Not sure if that helps?
  16. Oh wow, the wait is killing me... Hope you get yours sorted... I will have updates in my build thread on Tuesday to let you guys know where I get too..... Can't wait to get SAU NEWCASTLE happening guys A 34 cruise would be awesome, they are a great looking car! But in saying that, a general import cruise will be good for the Newy scene too...
  17. Hahaha hell yes we do!!! That reply was hilarious!!! Kurtis34 - will get you pics etc as soon as I can... Looking forward to seeing yours too!!
  18. You need to tell us what you are doing, or trying to achieve with the car? What are your power goals for the future? What fuel are you running on? What mods? Etc etc
  19. I'll be in for this... Car should be sweet... If not I'll enter my work van but I don't wanna miss out
  20. If your doing a manual convert as well then allow about $25k to do it properly... Look in my Sig, it's still untuned but if your talking flywheel HP then it's possible, if your talking at the wheels then your a crazy kid
  21. That Walbro option looks cheaper and easier than the 044 option I opted for...
  22. No flaming man... These guys are happy it's gunna be fixed... Everyone has to start somewhere, I'm learning as I go and take These threads as a good thing
