  1. If you go to an EBC you will generally have a boost guage on them somewhere... If its working properly you shouldn't need a boost reading anyway.... If its just the temp you are concerned about get oil And water temp guages but if it's getting hot forget spending money on a guage and take it to A mechanic Another useless 2c post
  2. Don't start this again.... He has plenty to research first
  3. I'm not commiting to any events until The car is done, BUT unless something goes horribly wrong I'm pretty sure that date will be fine
  4. That HPI 34 ran an 11.9 with 300rwkw.... So 12's should be about right, depends on the tyres, suspension and driver ability..... What's done to it? (just out of interest)...
  5. Shame about the weather man, it's not about the quantity.... It's all about the quality (well that's what I tell my missus anyhow ) I'm running about 2 weeks behind with my car... As soon as its on the road I'll be keen to cruise a LOT...
  6. Oh yeah!!! Keen to see the results.... Can I bring some Pom poms and cheer it on?
  7. Haha yeah, repping the 34's for sure!! I am pretty keen too, just checked on my car..... Still no ECU.....
  8. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/398503-which-clutch-s/
  9. Considering they are speed rated to 80km/h its probably not the best idea......?? Havent they got a sticker on them that say that??
  10. How many kms on the clutch etc? Its most likely going to be a clutch issue unless you seriously cant tell if its wheel spinning? Mine failed fairly early on with only 199rwkw or something.... Dont skimp on a clutch, Dont buy a second hand clutch or one in unknown condition. There is a clutch thread for R34's with some good advice, i'd be looking into that!
  11. Gives him something to go read about!
  12. Those meets still happen as far as i know...... Those are the sought of meets that i wont be attending due too negative attention...... BUT the Newy car scene will live again, i have plans to get organising stuff as soon as i can actually attend (i.e. have my car back lol)...... Will be good to catch up with you guys!
  13. It HAD a big car scene until too many fools spoiled it for us car enthousiasts..... You will have some more 34 support soon Ill wave......
  14. To back up the stuff above, the turbo only cost me $1500 new (i see one if the FS section now) but to fit that to the car the way i wanted and get it tuned you times that by 10.... There is a modification guide on here somewhere too, search for that as it tells you the stages and then you can work out your goals!
  15. Matt..... Your going to get flamed for this! There is a new thread everyday for the same thing.... There are links to turbo threads, links to dyno threads and MORE information that you could ever ask for on here..... I am not being a smartass, but the guys on here seem to get annoyed seeing the same threads ALL the time.... 3037 is an awesome turbo, you need to consider all of the supporting mods to make it work.... Get reading!!
  16. Haha there WILL be a scene soon mate! And hopefully we can have our own SAU NSW Newcastle thing happening for people with simiar interests.... I am sure there are more 34GTR owners around, ive seen a few around in my travels but not sure if they are local or passing through. They are an amazing looking car and always have my attention when i see one
  17. Well i spent all of Tuesday with the docs as the pain and throbbing was pretty ordinary..... BUT whilst there the muscle was not tight which indicates another sort of problem.... i have referrals to specialists etc now so will see what happens... It has basically rendered me inactive though which is exactly what i was hoping NOT to happen
  18. There are some nice roads around mate! The Putty run is always an impressive drive, but there are a few nice spots. You can cruise down the coast and get some nice shots similar to your Sig but with the beach behind etc... You may end up with a 34T stalking you though
  19. Drive the car and enjoy it... If you want to upgrade the turbo and make 550hp then be prepared to upgrade EVERYTHING.........
  20. Nah, i meant the rubber hose! http://www.xspurtinjectors.com/ Start life as a Bosch and then get modified slightly?
  21. I had my XT7's repaired.... They come up pretty good.... BUT only do it if the rims are worth repairing.... I think it cost $150 to weld and machine 2 rims and then another $100 to sandblast them and then i coated them in black which was always the plan anyway... So yes it can be done, and do as JD32R says
  22. Its only OLD fuel line that has this issue yeah? I re-run all the lines in new EFI hose so i hope it will be all good!! And i spent more than the link above for the XSPURTS as i figured they are a crucial part to the build so why skimp on them
  23. Ooh, that would be pretty helpful to at least see whats going on without pulling a heap apart!!! I didnt THINK it sounded right, but i only did basic mechanics and didnt get to work much with these sorts of things, so i was really hoping NO for Martins sake.... but i dont know.....
  24. Spotting quite a lot of 32's and 33's around the Raymond Terrorist area lately..... Possibly because my car will be ready soon and i am actually looking...... White 33 at R/T pub last night, looked and sounded OK Silver 32 with purple wheels
  25. For those who mentioned getting poncams, i used a guy in the US that delivered a set for my NEO for about $625 or something..... So they are certainly great value for money based on the results above..... Not sure what they sell for locally but if anyone wants the details i can go find them
