I wanted to do something similar in NSW and was told it would need to be engineered and registered as a 2 seater, i am assuming the ACT is similar... But i think the answer is YES its possible but not easy...

There are plenty of cars up here but not sure how many SAUers..... All the guys i met up here were through HT.net or NS or whatever its called now, i havent logged in there for years...... It may take time before the SAU_Newy thing catches on but i think its an awesome idea and have been looking forward to it for ages now

I have workshops doing all the hard parts for me, so i just mean if you sourced the parts and chose what you wanted to do etc you should keep a record of it, its a good combo to build and each one is different.....

But the PS switch should allow for that, pretty sure i swapped a few back in my Falcadore mechanics days..... Assume skylines would be similar?

Hmmmm no good about the daily Dave, but at least youve got to use the 33 So.... Gotta get some steer tyres for now, does anyone use the Achilles 123S and if so how does it compare to a Kuhmo KU36/Federal RSR? They are all cheap, but the Achillies are silly cheap..... Whatever i run will be the daily tyres and i want them grippy, ill run a second set of wheels for Texi days etc..... But keen to hear any actual feedback from these tyres on Skylines..... i googled it and found a few reviews that said they were crap in rain, but the other tyres seem to say the same?

Yeah sorry mate, bad question on my behalf... What i really wanted to know was the KM as i thought it would also be relevent to the thread as the time (as in years) doesnt reflect the amount of KM travelled etc..... Still, thats an impressive effort.... Cheers for the info!

i reckon a feed sounds like the go, just a casual lunch and beer into the arvo then go for a quick drive somewhere? Oh good stuff, well the Mattara meet is pretty easy for ya then... And stoko meets will happen on a semi regular basis once we are all sorted, i will organise with you guys once my car is back..... It will just be a casual SAU thing, no need for official meets etc

Not sure if we should make it an event until we get more feedback from others? i THINK the date is OK but am generally useless with double booking things so i will check, but i think once we all agree we can make it an event so that others can see and attend if they like

Perfect i am keen to check out your CF parts!! Its tucked away, its right near the big shopping centre, the police station is over the back near maccas i think? Either way, we will not be attracting any unwanted attention so it should be fine The only delay for me is the car and not knowing when itll be ready, but you guys start making a time and even if i dont have it ill make an appearance anyway! You mean cost to modify? ECU's, injectors, Clutches, parts etc cost a LOT more on the 34GTT.... i only say this as i have just dropped over $20k on mine to get it over 300rwkw (Its getting tuned at the moment).... I know you can do it cheaper but i wanted it responsive, if the OP wants to beat the other cars i assume he is going to want it setup right. It seems that most parts are expensive on the GTT and harder to get... I assume thats what you were asking?

What about Warners Bay/Belmont direction? I guess its starting to head back towards the coast and it gets me close to E85 equipped servos The Teppinyaki place at Warners Bay is a favourite with mates, but that can be done later for a dinner or something.... For the initial meet we do need somewhere with a decent carpark.... There was a big carpark behind the pub at Charlestown, i went there with family a while back and the food was OK, so many options.... Maybe we should all put down our locations and then work out something central that way, or we are just going to end up with a massive list of options

And if you take cost into account the 34's cost a heap more to modify and maintain so maybe the 32 is an option...

Well the 300rwkw would lean you towards the bigger engine being the 34.... The ford power figures are generally flywheel, so are you trying to have more power or drag race mates? What's the goal? And If u even hint wanting to race on the street or beat them off lights, Its gunna get ugly fast!!

I have no useful advice as I am useless... But what ECU out of interest?
