  2. Just keep an eye on the oil pressure gauge to make sure its all good on startup.... Also, your best to put in a little less and keep checking and topping up rather than over filling from the start, its easier to top up than it is to drain
  3. Workshops wont generally have a forklift or anything unless its a wrecker or similar BUT they should have some muscle to unload it..... Check at both ends before you try send it
  4. Either way i think it will look good! I would weigh up what you want to do with the cooler though too, do you NEED shiny? Do you want to attract attention? A nice stealth cooler is probably better for less attention from the boys in blue but it really depends on the mods on your car as to whether that is a concern or not?
  5. The high flow that was on my car came with a hefty $1900 bill, so the HG option sure sounds prefereable in terms of cost and judging by their thread the results posted in the dyno section etc......
  6. Why would they take pictures? Does it stay on file incase they get you again for the same thing? I am pretty sure my 3" system would pass the noise test as its pretty damn quiet but its going to restrict power i think.... I was going to look at a bigger system but with size i assume comes noise BUT will see how the current one performs before i go replacing anything i guess.....
  7. Updates to come in the next few days... The ECA, Wideband and boost gauges are now all wired up in the glovebox and the car is awaiting the wiring in on the Haltech PS2000.... Once this goes in they should be able to start it and begin the tuning process..... Nerves are setting in......
  8. Mine WAS up around $2700 when i was 24 due to loss of license and having a GTT, but i have stuck with Just Car all these years and it is down to $1400 or something..... That is with the highest excess etc..... Still have to sort the agreed value though as i think its a bit low but it seems the longer you are with them the better it gets!
  9. I've gone Satin black rims, Satin black intercooler and Satin black engine bay on a white car and i love the result! Its a tough look without being overstated.... Just make sure your happy with the decision and not just going on others opinions.....

  11. i think 6Boost have the boost creep issue to a degree? I dont know yet as mine is finally going to start this week..... I went for the 1 bar spring as i only intended on around 18psi BUT now they are looking to run 20psi i am not sure if the spring needs to change or if the boost controller does the work? Roy, why no EBC?
  12. So how much fluid did you lose/replace? I might have to be pro-active and fix this before i do any work with the car...... Snowman - You mean like the factory PS cooler? Or an actual core?

  14. It would need to have all the fluids drained and the ports etc sealed up as they do not want anything leaked onto the truck.... If you can get it strapped to a pallet etc you will have a better chance with most transport companies.... I dont know of any off the top of my head, but thought id mention about the oil etc.....
  15. no good.... Probably pull the cooler piping off etc and check for metal pieces or shavings before starting it again? Just to be safe...... Pics of the turbo? (Not that it helps, i just want to see what it looks like )

I remember reading about cheap injectors here - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/297224-installing-seimens-deka-injectors-onto-a-neo-rb25-r34/ Dunno if there is a set to suit your application or not but there were pretty cheap compared to what i ended up with.... Couldnt be bothered reading or searching for you but try and see if it points you in the right direction?
  18. 265's arent that bad, they are pretty common size so i dont see why you have a drama... Post up the wheel alignment specs, im sure someone on here will be able to help... You should have a print out? It should be something simple
  19. So is it heat that is causing this? I was worried about where mine is located so close to the manifold and high mount turbo......... I would have thought it was just overfull?

  24. I paid $1500 for mine in the same condition, the price the seller is asking is fair, if you can buy cheaper elsewhere the go nuts... But don't sabotage his sale!
