Ok, did the usuall search thing. Came up with one topic that was pretty much useless in the general mantaince section. I think the topic would be better in this section as its a more performace/handlening related item. Anyway, which diff oil do I use!? Even the mechanic doesnt really know as he has never come across a 2way before (more so he knows Im picky and wants to make sure what I want goes in) Basically what Im worried about is the few people I have asked have susgested normal LSD oil, and I get this funny feeling that using that type of oil would not be too good for the diff. Also, the diff tention settings (if the diff has them) how would you know how, and what you need to change, like is it an obvious thing, or do you need a 20 page instruction manual to work it out. As always any help is greatly appreciated.

Quoting myself from another topic. But I think that sums up to a degree the tyre width thing. But lets say a mate put a 3sgte in to a corolla where a 4age should be, he would want bigger brakes correct due to the significant increase in front end weight???

I saw Midnight GTR last nite, I thought he was about to steal my mates banged up civic, so I ran over to help them take it off his hands! Keying cars is super wrong hey. I think I would rather a number of other things happen to my car other than it being keyed. Good luck finding them.

Ok, after doing a search (I put brake fluid in, and searched everything in this section) I came up with nothing. So what brake fluid would be recomended for my car. Nissan cefiro, with a what would seem full R32 brake conversion, on the front DBA4000 slotted rotors with the RB74 pads. The car gets a bit of a flogging now and then, nothing serious, the plan is to eventually get in to motorkana stuff, and some track days, not to win, just to have fun and 'keep it off the street' so to speek. PS, if posible Id like the information quick, as the car is going in tomorow to start getting a good fix up.

Thats cool! That would mean my pads, and slotted rotors would be heaps good. Then some good new fluid in, in the next few days. Then if I went braided lines too!!!

Put bluntly, if I ran a bussiness I wouldnt be coming on internet sights to defend myself. It looks stupid, and doesnt help the business in any way. Whats a better way of doing things is using legal action of your own if you are that concerned about the comments. Just my personal thoughts, but its not very professional getting on the net and 'having a go' back at your customer. BTW, its business, your going to cop abuse from anoyed clients from, time to time, if its not phisical, put up with it. If you raise your voice back, start arguing back etc, they just fire up more. You tell them to calm down and you will call them back in 5mins or so if they dont. Agravation of the situation doesnt help things along.

There are different 'groups' so to speek, my mum does it as a hobby kinda thing, some others are there just for the hard sell. Deadset tho no way in the world would I use just a jug of water to wash the car, maybe one pannel if you say hit a pigion (which I just did, stupid birds) other than that, you do need to hose it down properly, wash off all the loose stuff. Its the same as a normal wash just no soap.

It could also be that the air that is flowing is cooler, that combined with the lager size makes your 20%.

I resent that! Mines an 88 model, and its cleaner than a lot of the even 92 models I've seen. BTW you can have mine for the super cheap once only price of $25k (btw, Im joking, my car isnt getting sold, unless someone really does offer me that much in cash)

Yeah my mum sells enjo also. Dont use the bloody thing dry on it. You should hose down the car first, and use the glove wet, the dirtier the car the more you rinse it out in your bucket of plain water. BTW if your being fussy rinse the car after as well, if your just giving it a quick going over there is no need other than to just dry it off. But as said, if the thing is dirty wash it. I dont think there is a simple way.

Nah its a CO2 spray for sure, I remember reading about them. Anyway an intercooler is a sealed item isnt it? It flows air, and allows air to cool the fins which the air is flowing thru??? So the co2 would just hit these fins making them cooler??? Yes no?

Ask a stupid question, but other than looking pretty what are they good for? And any chance on cefiro ones?
