  1. Well the people who have already put money down on theirs can still get them in, so Id take a guess that theres still a fair few coming over (in terms of Cefs, so in comparison to normal cars not that many). But yeah, if people stop selling them so cheap (same with R32 GTRs) the prices should stay steady, and in 12months or so we should be able to get the prices back where they should be, as people might have forgotton that they could have got one for $8k. If that makes sence.

Yes I know... He was annoying. Umm, and what happened to the wheel of my car...

    ?

Erin looks nothing like Warnie... What are you people ON!!!
  4. Thats because the people with boxsters are either trophy wifes or male hair dressers and wouldnt know the bloody difference! They see porsche they think they got the real deal, not a glorified VW motor!
  5. WTF is with all the faces as avatars!!! Its starting to freak me out a little now...
  6. So they dont get Sued by the persons parents/children... Sorry sorry world we live in!
  7. Two things. Firstly the major one. This thread needs a Darren Hinch recording of "SHAME SHAME SHAME"!!! 2nd thing, after thinking about it a bit more, not ONE of these GTR badges I've seen have been the same colour as an orginal badge, I think thats also wrong.
  8. Depends on how bad the turbo is to start with and what gets done to it. My mates CT26 cost like $2500 for highflow and rebuild, exxy experience, but worth it.
  9. But with the nerang one... Didnt matty spry used to work for them??? So my question would be, wouldnt it be better to just get the chip, then take it to Matty??? Maybe just see what Matty does. (PITS performace or something)
  10. Spend the money on a good set of disks and pads, personnally I think you would get a LOT more gain out of that than a few extra mm on a disk. However if you have money to burn, just go crazy, get GTR Vspec gear, and then do disks and pads on them.
  11. Just with the redrilling of disks, nothing safty wise as if you get it done properly theres no probs with it. However, I noticed on one of my DBA disks (dont ask why one, I dont know) but it was lets say a multi stud disk, I could have put it on my skyline hubs, or say S13/A31 hubs. It didnt need redrilling. So maybe just look at getting the calipers, and see what DBA can do? BTW the slotted rotors and a decent pad make a HUGE difference.
  12. Someone from brisbane had some for sale in the for sale forum. 3 sets from memory. They were R33.
  13. Did chip torque ever do them? Or have they gone down hill, or vanished or something???
  14. Well as the saying goes thats a shopping list. When you get these items you tick them off, or cross them off, just like a shopping list! So when you see a car with a big list, you know its slow, unless all the items are crossed off But how about this one! GTSt4 with full gtr running gear, and say they had a bingle, and replaced the guards with GTR ones... and they put badges on it? Then its really a GTR, just with a different plate on it isnt it? Hell lets go all out and say they put in all the interior too! 99% of people wouldnt know the difference, so is that stupid?
  15. JHH in woodridge are also really quite good. At least get your head done by them. Theres a work shop next to him, the guy that runs it name is Daniel, hes also pretty handy on the old skylines.
  16. Well funky brings me to my next thought. If you say take your badges off your GTR, what happens then? Does it become a GTSt4 or something crazy??? IM REALLY CONFUSSUSED!
  17. That 'simulation' game? hehehe I was thinking about it a bit more tonite. How can it lose torque? You pull the engine out its still got the same amout. At the wheels it might make a difference, but after driving round tonite thinking about it, I dont think it does hey. And just listening to the rev speed of my car to other rb20s I think it makes a fair difference. BTW I have a JUN lightweight wheel in mine.
  18. I'll see how I go next week money wise. But what tyres are on the $350 set? Where in Brissy are you, and are the prices firm?
  19. Im in Regents Park (up market browns plains, really its only cheaper home insureance )
  20. but... 120ys are dattos... Just like GTRs... Anyway, I do belive the only way to solve this problem is to go to all the autobarns, repcos, etc round the country and confiscate all their badges with type R on them, or GTR. Its the ONLY way!
  21. One thing I have heard from people with bigger turbos is a light weight wheel causes more lag. One of my mates actually went to a heavier than stock flywheel to try and reduce the lag a little. But that could have been because he had a wrx with a dog box and aluminium puck clutch, so Id guess the next weakest item breaks then being the flywheel (ps that last bit is a joke)
  22. Zilla is actually pretty fast but yeah. Now which way does it go with cefiros... If there is a camary badge on a cefiro is that shame to the cefiro or the camary???
  23. Thats a cool tyre alrite. But my question is, what if you want different handleing from chaning your tyre pressure? Do you just chop bits of those fins out, or add some more in?
  24. Yeah I got mine today too Erin. Thanks again (I think thats about the 20th time I've said that )
  25. I have a cefiro, so slightly heavier than a normal skyline, but prob about the same as a gts4. And say I go down the coast on a sat nite, drive to work in traffic the rest of the time, Id get about 490-570kms to a tank, then I fill up and only 55L goes in. So work it out. I dont baby the car, but where theres no point in giving it a bit I wont. So personally I think you lot need better tunes
