  1. Only cause Andrew takes rubbish pictures You know, if it wasnt the poilce that booked you, Id say they were picking on you aye.
  2. Well if a little old corolla can do 8500rpm in 5th (3SGTE, but pretty much stock) then I think a skyline could do better. BTW, working it back and allowing for the speedo being out, the rolla was doing anywhere from 270kmh+ (sits on about 2800rpm in 5th at 100kmh, but we know its more like 90kmh. So if anyone wants to do the maths)
  3. People, just so you know this is one HELLA cool line up of cars... See media release here.... http://www.brisbanemotorshow.com.au/media/...MR_21_01_05.htm Please also note. Enzo, F50, F40... We have a winner!
  4. Is the first number a 2???
  5. I didnt think the nasty policemen were allowed to hide??? Anyway you should have paid some little s-hit of a kid $5 to go push his bike over.
  6. Now the way I read that, had you written it all out BEFORE starting the job you would have been done in about 10mins (ps jokes, jobs are always barstards like that)
  7. Had I known! Oh, hold up! I was there anyway!
  8. Can we say give nissan a call, and get them to pull out the old mold make say 500 of the barstards??? Maybe 3000 or so if they match up with R32s and S13s?
  9. Maybe also new fluid, braided lines, disks, and I dunno about your modle skyline but maybe one of those fancy pants brake booster stoppers???
  10. Hey Dave, the other quick option, be realllly nice to someone with a GTR and see if they will let you quickly put one of your wheels on their car? That way you KNOW they will fit or not.
  11. Haltech can do it too. I've been told tho dont waste your money on a stupid fast laptop, a $20 P1 would do the trick for most of them. And with wolf 3D V4s software its just on their website, people looking at that system should just DL it anyway and have a look, seems fairly good.
  12. Blow them up!!! Or is that kinda missing the point?
  13. PS Police storys SUCK!!! Two storys and not one once-apon-a-time!
  14. Its news, what do you expect. Who really wants to see 230 000 dead people... Yet they flogged that to death (pardon the phun!) Its all ratings, ratings pay the bills. But hey, both instances, its people running, and cops chasing. They need something like a helicopter with a big mofo magnet to just pick the cars up off the road. That'll stop 'em!
  15. Do you know what else they might fit? Like any corollas or anything???
  16. Nankang suck. Kumho Ecsta Supra are apparently a AA grip rated tyre, but I hate them so much, I think they are just soft, not a good gripping tyre. Then I have brigs GIIIs on the rear, they seem ok, they have worn better than the Kumos, and seem to grip ok once they have a bit of heat in them. However Im not writing off the kumos yet, Im going to adjust the front suspension settings and see how I go from there, but first impressions (about 6-9months now) I dont like them.
  17. I saw it on the weekend, seems to drive alrite for whats a pretty BS engine. Id spend my money differently, but hey, good on him for giving something different a go and getting the power. Just out of interest tho, whats the torque like on that motor?
  18. Worked a treat on my car, noticable difference.
  19. And they will state Aust standards to you (ie tell you to pay your fine, put the car back to stock, and go away)
  20. I think Roy thats an even trickier one, as you would have grip being another factor, front and rear suspension settings, dampener rates, spring rates etc, and driving style/preference.
  21. Yes I realise that, but you change one setting, the other 3 also would change. Therefore going round in circles for a few hours.
  22. The fines/laws are based on the states so we found out. So if you want a 100% legal car for all of Australia, you need it engineered in every state so it would seem. *ps, if you think thats bad I have had a number of mates get booked for, steering wheels too shinny, steering wheel too small, no H pattern on the gearstick, and not ENOUGH water in the washer bottle, getting done for an avcr aint that bad!*
  23. After thinking about doing it myself I think its worth while to pay someone for this job. As you lift/lower one corner, the other one does the opposite, so its a LOT of stuffing about if you dont know what your doing (ie, if you lower one corner 5mm the other corner will need to go down 1mm etc) I think you would just keep going round the car till its a 4b or sitting on the ground
  24. Heavier dampening I wouldnt bother with, its Australia and we have rough roads. Just see about some heavier springs maybe, I think mine were $80 each.
