  1. Nope. Go try find the topic I posted asking about suspension settings, theres a bit in there about it. (edited because I forgot what I was typing) Toe in and out is which way the wheels point, castor is different to this, and adds camber when you turn the wheels. (or so I have been lead to belive)
  2. LoL, thats funny on a number of levels! (get it brakes... )
  3. No, thats another box down there. It also effects/can effect your drivers side door locking with an alarm, so I wouldnt pull that one out if that also annoys you. Its its own item.
  4. As always just did a search... Anyway, coilover dust covers, is there such a thing? I've seen them on 4x4s etc, and on like stock 'coilovers' where the springs are much bigger, but for a what I would call normal coilover is there such thing as a dust cover. Reason being is I've had a front one go and be replaced under warrenty, and this time I dont think they will be so friendly (still underwarrenty by a few weeks), although they did say they had some form of a dust cover coming and they would call me as soon as they arrived (obviously no phone call, so Im guessing no such thing either, hence this post) As always all help appreciated.
  5. What if say the unit was leaking? As there is no point in replacing a leaking unit your no longer going to use? (this might be the case in my car)
  6. What everyone has said. Two things tho, just unplug them at first, as there is about 3 little boxes up there. Then when you have found it, SMASH THAT BARSTARD THING!!!
  7. Id also check that the wire has a good connection, and its not coming loose, then connecting again. (if its that type of connection)
  8. I've never actually looked that close, when I get the car back tomorow I shall have a look see for you. (if I dont get beaten to it)
  9. I belive its called cost cutting... Anyway, I went for the fancy pants spark plugs as Im a lazy barstard and I hate having to try to take off that crossover pipe, and all the coils, and as my coils are getting on, the less they get touched the better. My oppionion on that anyway.
  10. And you have got coping this down to a rather fine art have you not Andrew.
  11. Dude just wander down to JB, see what they have down there. Be smart and take a disk along just to see what the quality is like. Last time I was down there they had some pretty big screens (for inside a car) going pretty cheap. The other option I can think of is getting a cheaper laptop, and somehow fixing it so when you open your glove box the laptop opens??? Its something I've wanted to do for a while. Have a looky in to it anyway.
  12. Pull out the carpet too? And do a full fiberglass floor? Jokes man. Maybe try and find a ceffy manual one??? Because mine doesnt get in the way, and some of my shoes are quite wide.
  13. LoL, I might just do that. I'll go have even more fun, and tell them that as far as I know the set I have are the only ones in Australia that'll make them sweat!
  14. But he said R33, not cefiro... What ARRRE you talking about With the tyres tho, is it not the sidewall movement that relates mostly to the heat, and the performace/handeling caracteristics of a tyre? And the semis have better side walls? Is that right or not?
  15. Well we always go to Crazys at springwood for the weekly coast migration. So you lot could just do that. Or we could actually organise something a wee bit different for once
  16. Also look at RDA brakes I think it is. Apparently they are just as good as the DBAs just a hella lot cheaper. Worth while to at least get a quote. Haveing said that tho I went the DBA4000s with what seems the recomended RB74 pads, seems to work a treat, just I make sure I warm the pads up going down my street every morning, otherwise sometimes they arent all that responsive at first (I have to drive thru 3 shcool zones before the car is warmed up properly, so I do it so I dont kill some little brat)
  17. Why do the English constantly whine, and the Frence are always pardoned...?
  18. I've read on here before about the 'radiator' effect, basically it said radiators are black for a reason, and the black cooled better, as the black only sokes up light radiataion or something. Cant remember 100% tho. Obviously it would be a fine line, as your painting it could block it up a fair bit. But then from memory a LOT of stock coolers are black.
  19. KW! , I was talking HP But yeah, lets race bucko! But yeah, we should meet a hungrys on thursdays, and go cut some Grand Plaza laps, then some Browns Plains road laps! Maybe even Mag drive!!!11 (ps Im joking, I dont mind my licence, I think its nice.)
  20. Out of interest what would your synth suggestion be? Or anyone elses thougths for that matter.
  21. Although Scotty isnt there anymore as hes moved on to more race car stuff... I've only been back once since, not bagging the place but Scotty was a legend. Anyway, mine had a loud squeeking noise on it, got fixed today. What it was, was the locking nuts (the big ones that hold the spring in place) had come loose, so everything was flopping around a bit, squeeking etc. Id check that one first, then if you have nylothan (sp) bushes that could also do it?
  22. That thing is f'ing tough aye. I saw him up the sunny coast a few weeks back when I had the day off. He looked at my car like wtf is that. I looked at his car with my jaw draging along the road.
  23. You should all buy cefiros! Mine fit perfectly. Oh wait, 15year rule is gone. But for lets say $50k you can have my cefiro Muwahahhahaha!!!
  24. Its all in that last line Andrew! Red Taxi! Red cars go faster, and well, I have never ever seen a taxi lose a traffic light drag! Ps, it does have 200at the rears... its not THAT much of a slug.
