Thing is you could theorectically push the stock bottom end pretty far. I think a few of you guys are accepting that they blow up when making a certin power output. I think with a decent tune, you would make the same power but have the engines last a fair bit longer. And well $600 isnt much compaired to a full proper rebuild, but its still a fair wack of money and a fair bit of time wasted changing over the bottom ends. Exact thing a mate had problems with, bad tune, didnt change anything but pulled out 2deg of timing and the thing never blew up, same power tho.

And if its a manual conversion, if you can tell just make sure its not toooo dodgy, like with the hand brake, much sure its been moved and isnt the stock auto foot hand brake thingy (that doest make much sence...)

Im noticing a comon thing, everyone says the RB20 love revs, but after 6000rpm they die off. Is this because of the cams correct? Also if its not toooo hard is it posible for everyone to post boost at all those levels, or even just where boost starts, hits on hard, and full boost please?

As per topic... Suspension hights and car ballance. One day some old bloke who had been in racing since he was knee high to a grasshopper, raced everything from formular ford to sports cars (the stupid big wing things with V8s in the passenger seat), he told me he used to have this tool balance a car by changing the hights of the suspension. Now my question is this true, if so how is it done, like can any old suspension shop do it, or is it a lot of stuffing about and not worth it. (btw I have coilovers so its no prob to change the settings) Also by balance I mean an even or purpose set distrabution of weight around the car. PPS, also what difference does hight in general make to the cars overall handeling and dynamics. Thanks!

Yeah, Id be going with the aim of them. You need to park in front of a wall to set them, its a bit of a stuff about but worth it. PS aiming them down more doesnt always work, as it can change the refection etc. Also maybe if your highbeams are brighter, the car is wrongly wired???

Blah to gauges! They are scary, they tell you what you dont want to see, stuff going wrong. (other than the speedo, that ones handy)

She got out and slightly hit the door on the stop your car going over the edge of a cliff railing. And well they had a bit of a go at her. Had they pushed it we were thinking about sexual harrasment. Dude that aint nice! Were the cops interested at all? And just so you know it took the RACQ guy about 2mins with the right tools to get in to my car, where normally it takes them 5secs. Hopefully you find it soon and with no to little damage.

After reading a lot of stuff on what the others with bigger power RB20s have, they all say a good flowing head is needed. They seem to hit a wall before the 250kw mark without being too risky. And just pointing out, if you spend all your money on an RB25 conversion, its going to be stock, spend all your money on a good set up for an RB20, its going to be quick.

I got pulled over once. I got a speeding fine. But whats worse, my car got called a skyline! You people are making me lose money damn it! But seriously, weekends arent bad if you are not stupid, and dont go to the hot spots, and be cool. Like our group if you will goes to the same 'hot spots' and we dont even get looked at twice. This group is say a few skylines, my car, sometimes Andrews VL, sometimes a 400hp gemini or some other insane sleeper. You lot saying 'thats why I dont go out weekends' get ya hand off it just dont be silly. Espeically you James, you got the most stock looking car out of everyone! Sundays however are another thing, thats just asking for it.
