  1. I think it was ABUSE, I think hes on here. He used to do work for both petrol companies for a bit (still might) and he said optimax is just a normal fuel with a detergent and a octane boost added in to the fuel mix. Ultimate really is a better fuel, burns better etc, its the fuel that is the higher octane, its not from additives. I just cant remember where he posted it tho.
  2. Hell yeah! I put some Ultimate in the 25yo mower the other day, it runs sooo much smoother now. BTW Im not joking! My arms werent sore from mowing because no more stupid vibration! It was tops!
  3. Yep spot on. Thanks muchly!
  4. Id even say 550s are too big for whats still a street car... My mate has a 1GGTE (2L 6cyl twin cam turbo) he has whats pretty much a t66 on there now, and 550cc injectors which might hit 40% duty cycle on a good day, the thing has about 350rwhp. Different engine, but not that much different.
  5. Dude just taking a REALLLY random guess... If its got a hand with blood on it out of the boot, I dont think the cops will be towing it away... I think they will be arresting you...
  6. Dude if your driving up it wont matter too much running the lesser fuel, just put the boost down and dont boot it. As most of its highway driving anyway it shouldnt be too bad for a tank or two.
  7. Dude, lay off the drugs man! I bet there was no one there, you just wanted to be popular! oh wait, thats me... Id hide it, and have like a ummm, AAA gun at the ready. Thats wack that is!
  8. Oh yeah! With my alarm it locks the doors as soon as you start the car Its even better when the person unlocks the door because they dont like it only to have it lock 10secs later after you start driving
  9. But what would tyre wear be like on that sorta set up??? And I do belive I have adj caster rods after a 2nd look. Im most concerned about tyre wear tho, as for one they arent cheap tyres, and well it is a normal road car, and Im not made of money.
  10. You rude barstards! Where was the message to me and my Krispy Kream shipment!
  11. I think its an aftermarket (or factory option at least) lip. Because that IS my front bar (just not cause its not my car) But my lip is now up in the roof of the patio due to a mistake. And yeah, my car doesnt look silly without it there.
  12. I've always had a motor that has worked in that drivers door... In fact its really cool, it even automatically unlocks when you open the door (from the inside). And I love scaring my passengers, I think its tops that the doors lock.
  13. Sky, also make sure all the contacts on the pack are clean. Every time we unpluged mine we needed to clean them up. Basically the car didnt start until we did. So try/check that first. Just unplug it and clean up all the contacts.
  14. Personally, I dont think thats very nice of them! At least give us half a chance!
  15. Ask the guy who sold you the tyres how many kms you should get of out them, then take 10-20 000kms off that. And thats bad BTW thanks for the help. Now the next question... Which one is caster, what does it do??? And which bit adjusts it??? From memory I think I have adj castor rods, but it could be something else.
  16. Hey, HEY!!! Who stole my bloody car!!!
  17. Can someone whos in the know please explain this to me. More so for a car that is going to be used on the street, not driven overly hard, but enough to make a difference. And also taking in consideration of best compromise of tyre wear. What is best, toe in or toe out??? Also what camber lets say could compliment this if the outsides of my tyres seem to be wearing (already has 1* negitive camber, and is running a slight amount of toe out, cant remember why) Thanks for the help.
  18. Erin, this is why I was first to post BTW, your staff I'll "go with you".
  19. I would like a minum of two tickets atm please Erin. Getting the money etc off me is easy, just remind me one Sat nite at a servo stop.
  20. As per topic I've got a Kenwood KDC-9020R, at the time it was a higher end unit, fancy stuff on it, plays MP3s if the prod code doesnt ring any bells. Anyway, when the unit is in stand-by mode you can select different speaker/sub settings. This basically lets the unit know what speakers you are running and its ment to change the sound, and preset sound settings to suit. Now the tricky bit. With the sub side of these settings it has... 10inch sub type A 10inch sub type B 10inch sub type C 10inch sub type D My question being, what the hell is the difference between an A type and a C type etc, if any??? Im fully lost aye.
  21. I shall ask my dad if he wants to go this year. Thanks Erin and Erin's boss!
  22. WTF'INGF!!! " 08-01-2005, 12:56 AM " How is that so!????
  23. The other thing that happend with mine, (stupid stiff and no travel suspension) I used to get beached going up driveways. The car would go on to two wheels, so one of the rears would be in the air, and it just spun. Obviously a locker wouldnt do that, you would go up the driveway. Maybe try and test it that way?
  24. Ahhh, I dont go over that side of town much... It scares me.
