  1. 167.9k rpm max
  2. It will still be awesome, will just be limited to 20-25 psi up top due to the pumping capacity of the 2.5. If you're get onto Borg Warner match bot. It will plot your wheel speed. Check the speed limit on the associated flow chart.
  3. You will certainly have response with the 6258...the starter motor will bring it on boost. You will have positive pressure from idle. It's Still no slouch. Have seen a time attack car win several events with the 6258. Only problem is you make risk over spinning the turbine up top to keep the flow from dropping off...which causes other things to drop off ;-)
  4. Roger that. Oh and thanks Scotty for helping out mike with an AFM
  5. Hence the small form factor Indy car version. Much shorter
  6. The 6258 is more suited to a 2ltr or smaller. I have a 6758 on my 2ltr Wrx and you wouldn't want anymore response. We have a 6758 .8A/R on a c34 Neo Stagea making 20psi by 2500rpm.
  7. Ok time to stop stuffing around with high flows. Picked up a small form factor ex Indy car Borg Warner EFR6758. Will run an external gate from the T3 to vband adaptor. Matt
  8. Nice. I'll be interested to see the log for the map sensor to see how stable it is on boost. I tee'd off the first fuel pressure reg feed for the smoothest signal. Still crap with my Chinese MAP. Moves up and down 4-6psi at 26psi. Yes I have pin 71 for the knock sensor connected. Doesn't work for me. Tried most frequencies from 6-7khz Here are the speed settings
  9. I have the knock sensor connected however there is no pickup in the logs, even when I can hear the knock. Doesn't look like the EMU is compatible with the M35 sensor. Happy to be corrected Which MAP sensor did you get? The Chinese version is very noisy on boost. I'll be changing mine as I run MAFLESS
  10. Hi All, As promised here is a copy of my install notes. Water temp is external as I found the OEM sensor signal to skew when tapped. Innovate LC-2 wide band is used for narrow band emulation and EMU autotune Vehicle setup: VQ25DE OR VQ35DE Speed pulse: TBA(think it was 16pulse, 21% correction) If someone has spare time and wants to put this info in a neat spreadsheet please go ahead. Matt
  11. Seems a backwards comment. Wouldn't you be better off slightly increasing flow then gaining response back with CBB. You would have more power with the same response, and better transient response.
  12. Getting there slowly. Not bad for a can of brake cleaner, caliper paint a file and some 1500
  13. For info. M35 front 296x24mm R34 GTT 310x30mm So a huge difference in warp resistance as well as increase braking force.
  14. Paid $350 for a full set with 2 sets of discs and 2 sets of 90% pads. Will look at what adaptors I need for the rear.
  15. Do the r34 GTT rear brakes also bolt onto a m35?
  16. The double flare seat..is this the olive in the brake line connection point in the calliper? I threaded a screw into the olive to pull it out. Sounds the same as the R33 GTST calliper install but without the hassle of bolt spacers. Sounds like the best bang for buck. Thanks for the quick reply. I have 20"s so clearance is not a problem =)
  17. So R34 GTT front calipers and discs literally bolt on to an M35? Same size bolt, no spacer required? Disc fits on 4WD M35 Hub? Brake line bolt on without modification? Only Dust Shield needs to be clearanced? Matt
  18. just have your local fitter and turner spin some up on a lathe
  19. 20x10 all round fits with no scrubbing at all. +35 rear, +32 front (3mm spacer for arm clearance) I have 2 spare wheels if you want to buy another 2 from ozzy to make a set. You can have them for cost price as I got them at cost to fix a mix up they caused.
  20. http://youtu.be/J06nj5-B_AE
  21. Do you mean non sand casted stainless, like original
  22. I need all the response I can get. Longer runners = higher low end velocity. I have ample top end.
  23. After a M35 Stagea blown turbo 50-$100 Matt 0413023669 Adelaide (will pay postage)
  24. have some slicks, wheels are long gone
