Hi guys, just wondering if I can get some advice. I would like my R34 GTR (non-Vspec) to make around 330kw at all four wheels, while still being responsive with minimal turbo lag.
Current minor mods are:
HKS split dumps
HKS front pipe
HKS hipower catback exhaust
HKS adj cam gears (IN/EX)
HKS timing belt with Trust clear cover
Apexi Pod Filters
Apexi PowerFC ?with boost control (1.2 bar max)
- Not sure whether I actually have the boost controller solenoid with the PFC.
Nismo twin plate clutch (super coppermix)
I am not sure what power it makes at the moment as it hasn't been dyno'd.
I was recommended the following mods from one of the tuning shops:
Twin Garrett GT2560RS as bolt-on replacements for the turbos
Nismo 600cc injectors
2 X Nismo air flow meters
Retune cam gears/PowerFC
The quote was around $5500 including installation. $6000 if an HKS-EVC was installed as well.
Do you think this is a reasonable price, and what kind of power do you think would I be able to produce? Any other mods that you would recommend?
I would like to keep daily driveability, good response, but just a bit more power than stock. I don't really want to play with camshafts or internal engine work.
Thanks very much.
